April is all about entertainment in Vegas. If you’re looking for a show, there’s something for everyone. We’ve got the final stretch of performances by the Backstreet Boys, an appearance from actor Rob Lowe, a new Elvis show, a James Taylor residency and much more.

If shows aren’t your thing, you can catch college hoops games or hit up an art fair or yoga class. Here’s what’s going on in April in Las Vegas.

April 14 – 20

Elvis fans take note: The King is back at Harrah’s Las Vegas beginning April 15.

From the producers of “Rock of Ages” comes “Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel in Concert,” the ultimate Elvis hit-driven, story-telling concert experience.

The show presents the story of Elvis’ rise to fame through more than 18 songs with four giant LED walls presenting imagery and scenes from his life.

Leading the band as Elvis Presley is Eddie Clendening, who is widely regarded as one of the most genuine and true-to-life tribute performers of Elvis.

“Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel in Concert” will perform Wednesday through Monday at 8 p.m. with an additional 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets start at $49 plus fees.

CHVRCHES

Scottish band Chvrches bring their brand of indie pop and electronic dance to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on April 16. Fans will recognize all of their favorite hits like “Get Out,” “Miracle,” “Bury It” and “My Enemy.”

Show time is 7 p.m.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony

Rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will play all of their classic hits at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on April 19.

American West Coast rapper Eazy-E signed Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to Ruthless Records in late 1993 and they scored their first big hit soon after with “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”

In 1995, the group’s second album, “E. 1999 Eternal,” was released. It included the singles “1st of tha Month” and “Tha Crossroads,” which reached No. 1 on both the Hot 100 and Hot Rap Tracks charts. “Tha Crossroads” also won the 1997 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

Show time is 8 p.m.

April 21 – 30

“Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino will take over guest hosting duties at Chippendales for the next five weeks, April 26 – May 26. (Friday through Sunday performances.)

Vinny, one of the most recognized lifestyle personalities and digital influencers, rose to fame on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” which was the highest rated series in the history of MTV.  He can now be seen on the reboot of the hit franchise, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

Catch the show at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m.

James Taylor coming to the Caesars Palace this April 24, 26 and 27

Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor and his All-Star Band hit The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a limited engagement. Catch the show this week April 24, 26 and 27.

Taylor has entertained audiences with his baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing for more than 40 years. He has sold more than 100 million albums, earning gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards. He has won multiple Grammy awards and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Fans can expect to hear favorites like “You’ve Got A Friend,” “Fire and Rain,” “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You),” “Handy Man” and many more.

Show time is 7:30 p.m. Taylor will also return to The Colosseum for shows in May, 2019.

Puddles Pity Party

Cult phenomenon Puddles Pity Party, a giant, sad clown with a golden voice, continues his limited engagement with nine nights at Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace. The show runs April 25 – June 15.

He has performed everywhere from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” (as a quarter finalist on Season 12), to Postmodern Jukebox, amassing more than 100 million YouTube views.

Puddles’ show consists of new tunes and plenty of classics, as well as improvisational audience participation including a “Luck of the Draw” segment where fans roll the dice or pick a card to determine which song Puddles will sing next. Each show is a bit different from the next.

General ticket prices begin at $59, plus tax and fees.

 

April 1 – 6

Six-time Grammy Award-winning music legend Dionne Warwick brings her limited engagement, “An Evening with Dionne Warwick,” to Jubilee Theater at Bally’s Las Vegas starting April 4.

Warwick, who was honored with this year’s Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, will entertain audiences with a musical journey through the hit songs that have made her the second-most charted female vocalist of all time.

Fans can expect to hear favorites like “Walk on By,” “Anyone Who Had a Heart,” “Promises Promises,” “A House Is Not a Home,” “Say a Little Prayer,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and many more.

General ticket prices begin at $62.50, plus tax and fees. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

Warwick’s performances are scheduled for April 5 – 6, 11 -13, 18- 20 and 25 – 27.

For the first time, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is heading to Las Vegas for five original shows starting April 1. Guests for the week include Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Seth Rogen, Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Celine Dion, The Killers, James Taylor, Marshmello featuring CHVRCHES and more.

The show will tape in front of a live audience from Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Caesars Rewards $1 Million Hoops Challenge Powered by FanBeat

Caesars Rewards members will have a shot at a $1 million prize during the Caesars Rewards $1 Million Hoops Challenge powered by FanBeat.

The contest will be hosted during the final college basketball tournament games on Saturday, April 6 and the championship game on April 8.

Starting Monday, April 1, 2019, participants who are Caesars Rewards members can visit caesars.com/fanbeat to play the FanBeat pre-game games and pre-register.

On Saturday, April 6 and Monday, April 8, participants can visit the site and begin playing the FanBeat games associated with the championship games.

There are two different types of games that participants can play: predictive play questions, which are multiple choice questions that pertain to the live basketball games, and trivia questions, which are timed, multiple choice questions.  The faster a participant answers a question, the more points they will receive.

There’s a chance to win more than 90 prizes and ultimately, the $1 million in cash.

Actor and author Rob Lowe will make his Las Vegas debut on Saturday, April 13 at the Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino as part of his “Stories I Only Tell My Friends: LIVE!” tour.

Fans know Lowe from everything from his Brat Pack days to his roles on “The West Wing” and “Parks and Rec.” Expect to hear witty and one-of-a-kind insights spanning his iconic career.

Inspired by the success of his two NY Times Best-Selling memoirs, “Stories I Only Tell My Friends” and “Love Life,” Lowe has created a behind-the-scenes look at Hollywood, fame, fatherhood, marriage, and a life lived at the forefront of culture for four decades.

The LINQ Promenade will be hosting an art festival April 12 – 14. Guests are invited to visit and get inspired by enjoying art in the outdoor shopping and dining district.

Hours will be Friday, April 12, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, April 13, noon to midnight and Sunday, April 14, noon to 6 p.m.

Beats & Brunch

Get your namaste on at Beats & Brunch at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Saturday, April 13, at 11 a.m.

The party will kick off with a vinyasa yoga class led by Jamie Cat of TruFusion. Throughout the event, activities will be accompanied by live music and entertainment provided by Soul State, Disco Lemonade, Vegas Flow Arts, Music For the People and more.

After yoga, the party continues with complimentary bottomless mimosas, a brunch menu from Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, open bowling and shopping from local vendors selling handmade goods. Tickets for Beats & Brunch are $15.
