It’s still summer in Vegas. Pool parties are in full swing and there is definitely not a chill in the air, but it’s totally time to start thinking about fall.

The football season kicks off Sept. 7 and we’re here to help you plan how to catch all of the action this year and get the best deals on game-day food and drinks. Here’s where to watch football in Las Vegas.

Sports Books

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace Sports Book is one of the best places to watch football in Vegas

The Caesars Palace sports book is legendary and is always a high-energy spot to watch football. Watch the gridiron action on six massive 12-foot by 15-foot screens, a 20-foot by 50-foot LED board and 12 50-inch plasma screens.

There are 140 seats in the sports book with a 12-inch flat screen at every table. Reserved seating for sports bettors is based on availability. You can also grab a seat at the large bar in the sports book, which faces all of the TVs. Pro Tip: Touch the gloves of the Joe Louis statue near the sports book before making your bet. Rumor has it the Brown Bomber statue is lucky.

The LINQ Hotel & Casino

The LINQ Sports Book is one of the best places to watch football in Vegas

Want to sink into a nice, comfy chair and sit back to watch the game? Head to the sports book at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. We love their swanky seating and the HD big-screen viewing. The sports book has one giant screen that breaks down into multiple screens to show all of the action.

If you want a break for food, the sports book is conveniently located next to Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen + Bar where you can munch on brisket nachos, Fireball Whisky wings and burgers. You can also grab a drink in the nearby TAG sports bar.

The Cromwell

Place your bets and watch the games at the new sports book at The Cromwell, which is set to open soon. Grab one of the comfortable chairs and catch all of the action on the state-of-the-art 32-foot by 9-foot LED video wall and a 9-foot-by-5-foot LED odds wall with ticker capabilities to see scores and updates from a number of vantage points throughout the casino. With flexible seating, the new sports book is easily accessible, and is located adjacent to Bound, allowing guests to enjoy both crafted cocktails and their favorite sporting events.

If you’re hungry, check out the new eatwell restaurant, which offers fresh salads, sandwiches and the signature Barbary dogs.

During football season indulge in drink specials including 16-ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light buckets (five beers per bucket) for $30; single aluminum cans for $7; El Jimador, Crown Royal and Absolut cocktails for $13 and Absolut and Red Bull for $17.

Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

The recently renovated Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Race and Sports Book features 10 70-inch wide screen HD TV’s, 18 55-inch wide screen race TV’s and plush new seating with 12 new booths, 24 lounge chairs and 14 new bar seats, all ideal for catching all the big games.

Drink specials include $6 Miller Light or Coors Light pints and a bucket of five beers for $30. Cocktail specials include Absolut or El Jimador Bloody Marias ($12), El Jimador margaritas ($12) or Absolut and Red Bull ($13).

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Playing Field at Planet Hollywood is a convenient location if you want some game-day bites

The Playing Field has a sleek, sophisticated vibe with 33 plasma TVs as well as two giant 103-inch screens. There’s a full-service bar that specializes in yard-long beers.

This sports book also boasts a convenient location if you want some game-day bites. Earl of Sandwich and Pink’s Hot Dogs are right next door and Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders is located adjacent to the sports book. Ringer will be offering beer bucket and drink specials all season as well as a free draft beer with purchase of a burger and waffle fry combo.

Bally’s Las Vegas

This sports book is the perfect football lover’s hideaway, located on the lower level of the hotel and casino. With multiple big-screen projections and high-definition televisions, the action is non-stop. Stadium seating gives each seat a premium view. Enjoy beer and drink specials all season long. Drink specials offered throughout Bally’s at the Casino Bar, Sully’s Bar and Bally’s Race & Sports Book include $8 Miller Light or Coors Light pints, a beer and a shot for $12 and a bucket of five beers for $35. TAG Sports Bar

TAG Sports Bar is the ultimate spot to watch football in Las Vegas

TAG at The LINQ is the ultimate sports bar. Not only do they stream sports from around the world 24 hours a day, they have more than 200 beers you can guzzle while watching. Half of the beer selection showcases domestic brews from 17 states and the other half features more than 25 imported beers from across the world. Maybe you’re not a football fan but you still want to have some fun on Sundays. Head to Alto Bar to partake in rosé (and football if you do want to watch) all day on Sundays. Guests can enjoy a “rosé all day” package from either 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for $34.99 and enjoy Cape Mentelle Rosé or bubbly Chandon Rosé. Flour & Barley at The LINQ Promenade will keep football fans happy with $5 shots of Jameson or Fireball and $5 Miller Lite. A happy hour menu will be available at the bar and lounge only during football games on Saturday and Sunday.

If you’ve got a group watching the game, you can enjoy a family pack that feeds four for $60. It includes a salad, choice of appetizer (wings or cheese bread) and a choice of a family-size pepperoni, cheese or Verdure pizza. Virgil’s at The LINQ Promenade will kick off football season Sept. 11 with a “Pig Skin” Party. The restaurant will smoke an entire pig on the patio and offer complimentary samples to guests in addition to offering their entire menu of football favorites such as BBQ nachos, smoked wings and more. Throughout the season, guests can enjoy drink specials, live music and giveaways as they watch the games on one of Virgil’s 13 TVs.


BEER PARK at Paris Las Vegas is a sports lover’s paradise. The 10,000-square-foot deck overlooks the Strip and features dozens of TVs, 36 beers on tap and a menu full of typical game-day food like nachos, sausages and burgers.

In September, BEER PARK will transform into tailgate central with football viewing parties all season long, beginning on opening day.

BEER PARK will show every game with viewing available from every seat in the venue. Live betting will be available at BEER PARK’s in-house sports book.
