Calling all penny pinchers, frugal spenders and plain ol’ broke fellas: We’re going to break down how to get the best bang for your buck in Las Vegas. Because after all the lavish spending in Sin City, your wallet might be leaning more on the empty side.

We’re sorting our list by cost (from highest to lowest) to make it easy for you to find these Las Vegas deals. Stick around ’til the end… we’ll tell you all the freebies you can enjoy during your Vegas trip.

Room Rates On The Cheap

First thing’s first: Before you enjoy any Vegas bargain, you gotta book your Vegas hotel room. And if you’re savvy with your research, you can even find rooms starting as low as $35 a night (excluding taxes and resort fees but hey, still a sweet deal).

Here’s our best Vegas tips that’s sure to save you some dough:

  • Just like planning any upcoming flights, book in advance. You’re more likely to get a cheaper room rate if you look ahead.
  •  Plan to book a mid-week trip and avoid holidays when you can. Weekends, holidays and major convention weeks are all known to increase prices.
  • If you’re a veteran, you’re in luck. Veterans can enjoy discounts on rooms (as well as restaurants and shows) year round.
  • Even though you’re exploring the lowest rates, that doesn’t mean you have to settle. Harrah’s Las Vegas completely revamped its rooms so you can still get a brand spankin’ new spot for a great price.
  • Head to Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and get its all-inclusive Total Deal package. On top of your hotel room, the price includes more food and drinks than you can handle. That’s our kind of deal.
  • Check out our Vegas hotel sales page to stay up to date with the best rates.

less than $60

Now that we got rooms out of the way, let’s get the party started:

Paris Las Vegas: Circus 1903

Come one, come all: Experience the golden age of the circus at this delightful production, CIRCUS 1903. Even though it’s super kid-friendly, kids-at-heart grownups can enjoy it just the same. Peanut, the puppet baby elephant, is too adorable for words. We’d see the show just for him alone. You’ll also see a contortionist, uni-cyclists, extreme jugglers and daring acrobats. Tickets start at $53 (plus taxes and fees).

Less Than $40

You’re halfway to $0, so keep on reading!

Located only steps away from MonteCristo Cigar Bar, this lively Vegas lounge hosts shows during the weekends. About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love discovering all of the city's vegan options, relaxing in hotel rooms and seeing the best concerts - no matter how big or small the crowd may be. Since I've ditched the rain in Seattle two decades ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me spending time with my husband, toddler and two pets.

Wow who knew? This is great news for Las Vegas locals also. Jeannie Garcia knows Las Vegas and I’m sure her recommendations are Big deals for all of us. I’ll be sure to let all my friends know of this terrific source.

  2. Me & my daughters are heading to Vegas on October 7th for 10 days. While there, we’ll see Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Elton John. We’re also hoping to take a night time helicopter ride over the Strip. We’re staying in The Paris & although we’re getting quite excited, we’re on a tight budget now so we would like to know the best places to go for great quality food and alcohol

    Thanking you in anticipation

Great selections, I have enjoyed almost every one of these…Big Elvis as my absolute favorite! Bally’s and Flamingo and even Caesars have great food courts you can eat at to save money. We also get the Buffet of Buffets, 24 hours with 7 buffets, we make an adventure of it. Start the 24 hour clock at Planet Hollywood as late as possible, as the Buffet is amazing and it is open the latest, so you can pick it up.again the next day. Paris is a great brunch, Rio’s buffet is good and the shuttle is free.
The Pineapple (?) Cookie company in the promenade gives out free samples and had a promotion last time where you could get a free cookie by asking for one.
    Some.of our favorite savings!
