Remember that year you gave Dad a pair of socks for Father’s Day? Or the year you gave him that novelty light-up tie? Maybe they weren’t your finest Father’s Day moments, but fear not, you can make up for it this year. There are so many cool things in Las Vegas you can do with Poppa that he’ll never mention those socks again.

BEER Park at Paris Las Vegas is running a $19.95 all-day barbecue special for Dad that includes Budweiser beechwood smoked St. Louis Ribs, chicken, beef brisket, coleslaw and potato chips. Enjoy sports on the big screens, oversized bar games and smoked meat platters with dear old Dad.

Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino has a drink just for Pops with the Paparita, a margarita made with Cabo Wabo tequila, Grand Marnier and a miniature Dos Equis bottle for $13. Dads can also pick from a selection of signature menu items including the carne asada burrito, served traditionally or enchilada-style and topped with tomato-jalapeño sauce, priced at $16.95; the New York ranchero, made with chipotle marinated New York steak, grilled onions, pico de gallo, papas and chorizo, priced at $32.95; and the CW chimichanga, filled with picadillo beef, mixed cheese and queso sauce, served with fresh guacamole, priced at $17.95.

TREVI Italian Restaurant at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will feature house-made braised short rib ravioli with roasted seasonal vegetables and red wine demi-sauce for $23. Dads also get a complimentary Peroni, a perfect way to wash down the pasta.

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is bringing the meat to Dad with a double bacon Kobe burger with four pieces of Applewood bacon and aged cheddar fries for $20 or a 14-ounce boneless choice cut rib eye with a loaded baked potato for $30. Each purchase comes with a 12-ounce draft beer.

Over at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, All American Bar & Grill is also going steak heavy. Guests can choose between Surf and Turf featuring a filet of beef and a grilled lobster tail or Big Boy Ribeye plus a glass of wine or a domestic beer for $50.

The Voodoo Steakhouse on the 52nd floor of the Rio is running a Father’s Day Whiskey & Cigar Dinner on the patio. For $95 per person, patron will enjoy a five-course dinner with beverage pairings plus hand-rolled cigars. There will be a guest appearance from a Comedy Cellar comedian and a chance to win Comedy Cellar tickets. Seating is limited so reserve your spot now.
