Las Vegas goes all out for holidays but Halloween on the Strip is especially fun with everything from nightclub parties to costume contests to family fun. So pack your bags, including your costumes, and close out October the right way with Halloween in Las Vegas.

Halloween characters will be on display throughout the Promenade from Friday, Oct. 27 – Tuesday Oct. 31 during The Witching Hour, a spooky and fun show performing nightly from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Promenade stage.

On Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m., bring the family for TRIQ or Treat for the kids. The LINQ Promenade merchants will be handing out candy as guests stroll through the Promenade. Come in costume to catch the show plus an LED drum line starting at 6 p.m., followed by a costume contest for adults beginning at 9 p.m. Be sure to dress up for a chance at $15,000 in costume contest prizes. Children 12 and under can ride The High Roller for free on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 – 29.

Get your drink on this Halloweekend with drink specials at The LINQ Promenade’s AmeriCAN. Enjoy $5 shots beginning at 10 p.m.

Virgil’s Real Barbecue at The LINQ Promenade is celebrating Halloween with The Virgil’s Cauldron. This spooky concoction is perfect to share with a group. The one-gallon cocktail comes complete with Skyy Vodka, a bleeding ice hand crawling out of the cauldron and guests’ choice of “brew” including strawberry, peach, grapefruit, blueberry and raspberry lemonade flavors.

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas gets its jam on with Trey Anastasio Band shows Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28. Hardcore fans can get two-night passes or just choose one of the shows. Anastasio loyals won’t want to miss the Push On ‘Til The Brunch And Bowling Tournament (named after the Anastasio song “Push On ‘Til the Day”) on Saturday, Oct. 28. The first-place bowling team will receive a $300 food and beverage credit and access to a box for Trey Anastasio Band’s Saturday night show, as well as a Relix and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas prize pack. The second-place team will receive access to a box for Saturday night’s Trey Anastasio Band show and a Relix and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Prize Pack.

D.J. Williams’ Bowls Fired will perform a “Strike the Hate” concert on Sunday, Oct. 29, with doors opening at 2 p.m. D.J. Williams, guitarist for Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe has assembled an all-star cast of musicians featuring musicians from your favorite jam bands for a matinee show. Lunch will be served throughout the venue so come hungry for that Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Las Vegas Victims Fund.

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Cowboy up! Don your finest cowboy or cowgirl outfit (or whatever costume you desire) if you’re up for a little Halloween bull riding. PBR Rock Bar in the Miracle Mile Shops hosts a costumed bull riding contest Oct. 28 with $1,000 in cash and prizes to the winners. Down a little liquid courage first in the form of Crown Royal and Pabst Blue Ribbon drink specials.

Heart Bar inside Planet Hollywood hosts two nights of costume contests with big bucks on the line. Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29., head to Heart Bar in costume for your shot at $2,500 in prizes. Cash prizes will be awarded for the scariest costume, most original costume and the sexiest costume. Enjoy music from a live DJ plus drink specials including Bacardi cocktails, Corona and Modelo.

Caesars Palace

It’s scary how good the Halloween weekend lineup is at Omnia Nightclub. On Friday, Oct. 27, dance to the sounds of superstar DJ Calvin Harris in the main club and DJ Shift at Heart of Omnia. Return Saturday, Oct. 28 for Zedd in the main room and Irie at Heart of Omnia. Save a little energy for the main event, Halloween night, when Kaskade mans the decks in the main club and you can catch Mike Attack at Heart of Omnia.

Harrah’s Las Vegas

Caraval Court gets downright batty when Bacardi takes over Halloween weekend. Watch the flair bartenders do their thing and grab a drink special like the Bacardi Zombie, Bacardi & Cola and the Bacardi Ocho Old Fashioned. Go-go dancers in bat costumes will entertain you while you sip. The party runs from 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.

VooDoo Rooftop Night Club & Lounge hosts a Villains & Vixens Halloween party Saturday, Oct 28 featuring DJ Vegas and Mickey of the Wild Ones. This will be the perfect night to try the Witch Doctor cocktail, complete with dry ice for a spooky effect. Don’t forget your costume because there will be $3,000 in cash and prizes for the sexiest one.

Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell parties for almost a week straight in honor of Halloween. Get things started a little early with DJ Crooked’s Birthday Celebration Thursday, Oct. 26. Trey Songz takes over Friday, Oct. 27. Travel forward in time when Future performs Saturday, Oct. 28. Lil’ Wayne closes out the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 29. Come back on Halloween night to do it all again and be sure to wear your costumes (no masks permitted) to enter the costume contest for the best oordinated group costume. The winning group will share a $10,000 prize. If you’re not the competitive type, just come to hear the hits from Rae Sremmurd who will be performing live.

Celebrate Halloween outside on the patio at Beer Park as it becomes Boo Park Friday, Oct. 27 through Tuesday, Oct. 31. The Strip-side restaurant hosts back-to-back Halloween parties, launching on Friday, Oct. 27 with costume contests and guest DJ performances all weekend long. Catch Monday Night Football while the staff dress like the undead. Hopefully you’re team’s not playing like a bunch of zombies. On Tuesday, Oct. 31, Boo Park will be screening scary movies throughout the venue.
