How To Have An Epic Weekend In Vegas

Last updated: July 26, 2019 at 9:47 am. Posted by in Around The Empire, Caesars Entertainment, Things to Do in Las Vegas. Comments Off on How To Have An Epic Weekend In Vegas.

“We’re going to Vegas!” These are famous words spoken by groups of people – bachelor and bachelorette parties, couples, fantasy football league members, girls’ trippers, and bros – as they prepare for what they expect to be the most epic weekend of their lives.

Cut to a few days later. Most of these groups will have lost some many, hit a couple of hot spots and maybe even touched Steve Aoki’s hair as he passed by on his way to the VIP section of the club. But was the weekend really epic? Did the group in question kick all the asses possible? Or did they do just enough to have one good story to tell when they got home? If the answer is the latter, that’s not good enough for us. We’re not saying we want you to end up jail, but you know if you do – anyway, here’s our completely legal guide to have an epic weekend Las Vegas style.

Get married

Have a crazy weekend in Las Vegas - Get married at Paris Las Vegas

It doesn’t matter to whom! We love all kinds of love. Heck, you don’t even have to know the person. Change your tax bracket for two days. Learn each other’s last names. Then come to the realization of what a horrible mistake you’ve made.

Las Vegas is full of unique chapels for you to profess your love to your betrothed (who you just met in the club earlier in the night as Calvin Harris put you both in some type of romantic trance with his beats). Maybe you want to go upscale with your celebration. Check out the two chapels at Paris Las Vegas and enjoy your first kiss as a wedded couple on the observation deck on top of The Eiffel Tower. Or maybe you want your wedding to rock! Get your “Love Gun” out at the KISS Love It Loud Wedding Chapel at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and have some Gene Simmons looking fellow run your ceremony. After your “I do’s” you can play mini golf. That’s what is meant by “rock ’n’ roll all night and party every day.”

Stay up forever

Stay out all night at Drai's Nightclub Las Vegas - Crazy weekend in Vegas

Three club experiences, one hotel. Check out Drai’s Nightclub and then make time for the Beachclub and After Hours experiences. Photo: Drai’s Las Vegas.

It’s 2 a.m. and not even whatever you did earlier that night has filled that gaping hole in your heart. Sadly, there is no 24 hour therapist in town. But there is dance therapy till the break-a, break-a dawn y’all. Start during the daytime with Drai’s Beachclub, then it’s on to Drai’s Nightclub and finally finish it up with Drai’s After Hours. Drai’s at The Cromwell is legendary for its all day, all night and after party scene. We believe it closes as the sun rises, but really, who’s to say? This is the club scene that never sleeps in the city that never sleeps.

Have a robot serve you a drink

Have a robot make you a drink at Tipsy Robot - Crazy weekend in Vegas

Robots pour. Humans drink. World changes. Photo: Tipsy Robot.

Let’s be honest. We’re all doomed to be enslaved by artificial intelligence sooner rather than later. Heck, at this point, we’d be lucky if aliens make us their servants before cyborgs end up ruling the masters who created them. But enough of our Philip K. Dick digression. While we still have our freedom, let’s make the robots serve us. At The Tipsy Robot in the Miracle Mile Shops, two robot bartenders make guests up to 18 different types of cocktails, delightfully distracting these humans from their impending doom courtesy of the robot bartenders. Anyway, learn how to say “Yes, sire” in Java and drink up!

Eat the fanciest meal ever

Guy Savoy is a superstar in the culinary world. His restaurant in Paris was once named best restaurant in the world by La Liste. His Las Vegas eatery, Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace, has won too many awards to name them all. Restaurant Guy Savoy offers so many high end dining options that burning a hole in your pocket has never been this delicious. Go all out with the Krug Chef’s Table which features a 10 course meal prepared a la minute. Diners get to watch the kitchen prepare their food all while enjoy the finest bubbly, Krug’s champagne.

Get more Britney

Britney Spears at Planet Hollywood

Ever since the video for “Baby One More Time” came out nearly 20 years ago, Britney Spears has had a special place in our hearts. But what is she really like? Or at least, what is she like when she’s not onstage but still by the stage because it’s show night so she’s backstage? Every ticket bought for “Britney: Piece of Me” at Planet Hollywood offers the buyer the chance to go VIP and add a backstage pass plus meet and greet with Britney to it. Those who partake in this option receive the VIP treatment the entire night. Autographs from Britney, pictures with Britney, the backstage tour about Britney – it’s the most Britney thing any Britney fan could ever Britney ask for!

Stay in the Most LUXURIOUS rooms ever

While there is no official “Hangover suite” (while inspired by the Forum Tower Emperor’s Suite, the Hangover suite only existed on the Warner Bros. Studios’ sound stage), there are plenty of palatial spots in the Caesars Suites collection for you and your homeys to nurse a hangover. We recommend stepping your game up at Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. There’s the soothing Hakone Suite which is inspired by the Fuji-Hakone National Park. The Sake Suite design is based upon sake casks. Plum and dark wood create the color scheme and vibe. There’s a billiards table and a media room. It’s the perfect place to hide away from the world. The Penthouse Suite offers up to 4,350 square feet of luxury. It includes a 90-inch flat screen television and whatever else you may be able to dream up. Finally, there’s The Villa, the most opulent of options. Designed by David Rockwell, it is 10,300 square feet and features a sky deck, cuisine courtesy of Nobu chefs, a fire and water feature and a Zen garden with an Italian whirlpool.

Ride the line

Ride the Voodoo Zipline at the Rio - Crazy weekend in Vegas

One minute and ten seconds of sheer excitement, fear, insanity and whatever else you want to call it. The Voodoo Zipline sits 50 stories above the ground on top of the Masquerade tower at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino and sends guests on the ride of their lives at up to 33 miles per hour more than 800 feet to the Ipanema Tower. The zipline is 400 feet in the air and riders can see the entire Las Vegas Strip during the jaunt, even if they are wetting their pants while doing it. Now that’s epic.
