With the new year, there’s a chance to reflect and maybe get some New Year’s resolutions in for good measure. And we’re hoping some of those resolutions include spending more time in Las Vegas!

So get ready to celebrate – it’s 2020 and that means there are some amazing new things in sight.  Here are some Las Vegas events that you can take time to attend this month:

Las Vegas Events in January

Jan. 1 – 4

Paula Adbul: Forever Your Girl at Flamingo Las Vegas - Las Vegas Events January 2020

Headliners

There’s still a chance to catch the last few days of the latest run of Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl at Flamingo Las Vegas, but you’ll want to “Rush Rush.” The pop icon and “American Idol” mainstay closes out her most recent run of shows on Jan. 1, 3 and 4.

Comedy

You should definitely start the year off in a good mood, with plenty of laughter.

You can catch actor and comedian Paul Rodriguez from Jan. 2 – 5 at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club and “under-dressed everyman” comedian John Caparulo at Harrah’s Las Vegas from Jan. 2 – 5.

Nightlife

Had enough time to recover from your New Year’s Eve / Day partying? Good because you don’t want to miss it when Nelly performs live at Drai’s Nightclub on Jan. 4.

Get Sweet or Stay Cool at I Love Sugar and Icebar

The LINQ Hotel + Experience has two recent additions that are worthy of attention, I Love Sugar‘s flagship store features all things sweet in addition to a candy-infused martini bar and candy-inspired art and sculpture that are totally worthy of the ‘gram.

ICEBAR features a tasty menu of craft cocktails and mocktails, all served in a permanently frozen bar environment. You’ve absolutely got to step foot into a bar when it’s this cool.

Jan. 5 – 11

Headliners

You’ll have a few chances to catch country sensation Keith Urban: Live – Las Vegas in January. The artist’s residency at Caesars Palace runs Jan. 10 – 11 with special guest Ingrid Andress, and Jan. 17 – 18 with Tenille Townes.

Comedy

Rich Vos, co-host of the “My Wife Hates Me” podcast, headlines Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club Jan. 9 – 12. John Caparulo returns to Harrah’s Las Vegas from Jan. 8 – 12.

Nightlife

You’ll want to catch Steve Aoki (and the possibility of “catching” some sheet cake, maybe) on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at OMNIA. Rae Sremmurd will play Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, Jan. 11

Consumer Electronics Show

In town for CES 2020? The Jan 7 – 10 trade show? Check out some of the cool tech on display at The LINQ Hotel + Experience, from interactive digital screens at the entrance to a rousing round of Mario Kart, there’s multiple ways to have fun with technology.

Jan. 12 – 18

Headliners

Six-time Grammy Award-winning legend Dionne Warwick returns to Las Vegas for a limited-time engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The artist behind hits like “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Reach Out For Me,” and “Walk on By” performs Jan. 16 – 18 and 23 – 24.

And don’t miss Keith Urban: Live – Las Vegas, closing out this leg of its run at The Colosseum Jan. 17 – 18.

Nightlife

Ludacris takes the stage at Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, Jan. 18, followed up by Fabolous on Sunday, Jan. 19. Over at OMNIA, catch Tiesto on Jan. 18.

Comedy

Up-and-comer Steve Treviño will appear at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club Jan. 16 – 19.

Jan. 19 – 25

Headliners

Mr. Las Vegas is back! Wayne Newton returns to his Cleopatra’s Barge residency at Caesars Palace for another run of Up Close and Personal. The Vegas legend performs all his greatest hits in this intimate lounge space, in addition to sharing personal stories and throwing in a fair share of audience interaction.

Nightlife

Kick off a weekend of partying with Ty Dolla $ign on Friday, Jan. 24, followed up by Yo Gotti on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Drai’s Nightclub. OMNIA hosts Party Favor on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Comedy

Bret Ernst, from the YouTube TV series “Cobra Kai,” headlines Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club Jan. 23 – 26.

Jan. 26 – 31

Chinese New Year

Las Vegas always goes all-in with Chinese New Year celebrations and the Year of the Rat is no exception. Running Jan. 25 through Feb. 8 this year, expect lion dances at our properties and a full slate of events at The LINQ PromenadeKeep your eyes on Total Vegas Blog for more details soon.

RuPaul's Drag Race Live! at Flamingo Las Vegas

Headliners

RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! kicks off its long-awaited debut run at Flamingo Las Vegas on Jan. 30. Based on the Emmy Award-winning TV show, catch a rotating lineup featuring “showgirls” like Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, Eureka O’Hara, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Shea Couleé, and Yvie Oddly.

Legendary singer and composer Van Morrison returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palacedue to overwhelming demand. Catch the “Gloria,” “Here Comes the Night” and “Brown Eyed Girl” star on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 5, 7 and 8.

Nightlife

Close out the month at Drai’s After Hours at their Draimanji party on Thursday Jan. 30, with music by Maria Romano. Or get your GTL on and catch DJ Pauly D Friday, Jan. 31 at Drai’s Nightclub.

Comedy

Catch funnyman Dan Cummins Jan. 30 – Feb. 2 at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club. Cummins has appeared on “Conan,” “The Tonight Show” and most recently, Amazon’s “Don’t Wake the Bear.” You’ll also have another chance to catch John Caparulo at Harrah’s Las Vegas from Jan. 29 – Feb. 2.
