A not-to-be-missed event takes place on July 8 as modern day daredevil and Motocross champion Travis Pastrana pays tribute to his hero Evel Knievel by attempting to modify and extend Evel’s three most famous jumps.

The crescendo takes place at the fountains at Caesars Palace where Pastrana will be making the final jump on an Indian Scout FTR750, a bike similar to the ones Evel used to ride.

The events are free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. The public can access the jump viewing areas:

  • In the lot behind Bally’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning at 3:30 p.m.
  • In front of Caesars Palace beginning at 6 p.m.

This co-production between Caesars Palace, Pastrana’s Nitro Circus and HISTORY (The History Channel) will air as a three hour special on the aforementioned network July 8 at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST. Click here to learn more about the jumps.

Check out some of their famous dishes that are featured in “Eiffel Tower Cookbook – Capturing the Magic of Paris.” That means plates like slow roasted salmon filet with Pinot Noir sauce, Muscovy duck breast with Minnesota wild rice and sauce aigre doux and individual Eiffel Tower Beef Wellington with sauteed snap peas.

For some prime patio dining, head over to Mon Ami Gabi and become revolutionary with items like wild escargots de Bourgogne, mussels mariniere and classic profiteroles.
