Father’s Day Shenanigans

Patio dining at Beer Park.

Dad: “Aw, you shouldn’t have!” Photo courtesy of BEER PARK.

“I used to hate facial hair… but then it grew on me.”

“I could tell a joke about pizza, but it’s a little cheesy.”

Oh, the corny dad jokes! They’re so bad, they’re good and we thought we’d throw a couple your way to share with Dad on his special day. Father’s Day in Vegas is all about feasting, catching up and sharing drinks as well as memories. Check out what Pops can enjoy when you’re all in Vegas:

Beer Park

Located inside Paris Las Vegas, enjoy a rooftop party with at Paris Las Vegas’ Beer Park with its new Funk and Electric Brunch from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. You’ll also enjoy the bar-restaurant’s barbecue platter, served all day.

The Father’s Day barbecue platter comes with three smoked brisket sliders topped with barbecue sauce, aioli and jalapeño coleslaw; barbecue half chicken brined in Budweiser and beechwood smoked; and sides of potato salad, pickles and coleslaw.

You can also enjoy other brunch items such as smoked brisket hash with crispy potatoes, peppers, an over easy egg and barbecue sauce, or the hangover breakfast sandwich on a brioche pretzel bun with fried chicken, an over easy egg, bacon, lettuce, smoked tomato, provolone and honey chipotle mayo. Wash down your meal with a selection of 100 different beers (including 36 on tap), bottomless mimosas and brunch cocktails

Dad can also boogie to live DJ and band music after his hearty meal. We say it’s a great way to burn those brunch calories. Hey, it’s either that or sitting through more dad jokes, right?

Cabo Wabo Cantina

But you can’t stop there: Dad’s gotta eat too. Stick around and treat him to a Father’s Day breakfast, available from 8 – 11 a.m. Choose from CW Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, machaca, chorizo, melted pepper jack cheese on a toasted English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce and served with a side of potatoes ($13.95).

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
