June in Vegas is sizzling with so many concerts, restaurant specials and events. From blonde beauties like Gwen Stefani and the new Marilyn Monroe musical to multiple poolside concerts, you’ll need to start planning your Vegas weekend ASAP.

We give you the lowdown on the things to do in Vegas this month:

June 1 – 9

New Las Vegas show that is based off the life of Marilyn Monroe - Marilyn! The New Musical at Paris Las Vegas

MARILYN! THE NEW MUSICAL

See a tribute to the iconic blonde bombshell in “Marilyn! The New Musical” at Paris Las Vegas. The grand opening is Friday, June 1 – just in time for the Hollywood starlet’s birthday. The musical features acclaimed Broadway actress Ruby Lewis as the resident Marilyn Monroe. “Marilyn! The New Musical” is based on the life of Monroe, as told through the eyes of her driver Charlie. This new Las Vegas show will also feature rotating guest performers.

The show performs Tuesday – Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $49.

Céline Dion

Near…far…wherever you are, your Vegas trip isn’t complete without seeing the legendary Céline Dion. Céline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace features all her hits through the ages including “My Heart Will Go On,” “Because You Loved Me” and “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.”

See the superstar sensation on the following dates: June 1-2, 5-6 and 8-9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $55.

Calvin Harris will be at OMNIA at Caesars Palace June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29

Calvin Harris

It already feels like summer in Vegas, so what better time to see award-winning EDM producer Calvin Harris than now? OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace has it under control. Harris performs every Friday this month: June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Doors open at 10 p.m. and cover charges vary. (Tip: For most Las Vegas nightclub acts, you’re most likely going to see the headliner well after midnight, so plan accordingly!)

Colors Presents: R&B Only

It’s time to get your groove on and dance to the R&B music we all know and miss. Back by popular demand, Colors Presents: R&B Only makes its way back to Vegas. Take your honey to the dance floor or find your new bae in the crowd — you never know what’s going to happen, especially when smooth grooves are involved.

Doors for this Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas party open at 8:30 p.m. on June 2. Tickets start at $19.99. This is a 21-and-up event.

Speaking of party, it’s not a party without R&B / trap artist PARTYNEXTDOOR. You better recognize: PARTYNEXTDOOR would say to you, come and see me.

See his live performance at The Cromwell during Drai’s Swim Night on Tuesday, June 5. This ongoing summertime event occurs every Tuesday night throughout the summer and features an artist headliner. Hours for Drai’s Swim Night are 10 p.m. – 4 a.m. every Tuesday.

VooDoo Steak Dinner Series - Fine dining prix fixe experience which includes a five-course dinner

VooDoo Dinner Series Experience 

Foodies, rejoice: VooDoo Steakhouse at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino now offers a fine dining prix fixe experience. Just in time for summer, this outdoor patio event includes a five-course dinner with very limited table space (six tables of four, with June 30th event eight tables of four). Vegan and vegetarian options are available with an advanced notice.

Each dinner consists of a reception (cocktail and champagne included); appetizer; salad or light appetizer; intermezzo; entrée; and dessert.

The first one kicks off on Sunday, June 3. The theme is a Champagne dinner (Moet and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label) and costs $175 per person. Get tickets.

“Slippery, ‘scuse me, please me…” this is what you’ll be singing when you see Georgia rap trio Migos take the stage at Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell on Friday, June 8.

Not in Vegas for that weekend? Catch the “Bad and Boujee” group again on Friday, June 15. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

June 10 – 16

Rod Stewart: The Hits

Fans of the rock and R&B star will love “Rod Stewart: The Hits” at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace. You’ll hear all your favorites like “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy” and many more. And because he loves interacting with his fans, the show would not be complete without his signature playful soccer ball finale.

Show dates are June 12, 15-16, 19, 22, 29-30. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. nightly.  Tickets start at $49.

Bring on the popcorn! Rio Las Vegas pool is now hosting dine-in movies

Las Vegas Dive-in Movies at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

Bring out the popcorn and the blankets: Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino now offers dive-in movies at its lush pool. The dive-in movie series kicks off with “Thor: Ragnarok” on Friday, June 15. One June 20, “Jawa” will swim in.

If you’re here later in the month, you can see “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” on Friday, June 29. The pool hosts movies on select Fridays throughout the summer. The movies will play from a large projected screen from the pool.

Here’s the best part: There is no cover charge for these movies, making it a fun for everyone. Parking is also free. Movies begin around sunset each night. There are also drinks specials with each movie.

Naughty By Nature

Hip hop hooray, ho, hey, ho….!!

Head to Flamingo Las Vegas and see ’90s hip-hop group Naughty By Nature take the stage as part of GO Pool‘s #DayBeats concert series on Saturday, June 16. Groove to all the sounds you loved growing up, including “Hip Hop Hooray,” “Here Me Flow” and “O.P.P.”

GO Pool is a 21-and-older venue. Doors for GO Pool open as early as 9 a.m. Let’s get party started early, shall we?

Need some clarity? See Grammy-award winning producer Zedd bring his musical magic to the stage at OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Saturday, June 16.

If you can’t get enough of Zedd (or aren’t here for the that weekend), he returns to OMNIA on Saturday, June 23, as well as Saturday, June 30. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Say it with us now: “Twoooooo Chaaaaainz!” Georgia rap artist 2 Chainz brings his hits to Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell on Saturday, June 16. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

Father’s Day Festivities

It’s that time of year again to celebrate dear ol’ Dad. Here are many ways to impress pops in Vegas for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17.

This June Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream performs from Saturday through Thursday at Planet Hollywood

Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream

Reality-defying show, Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream inside Planet Hollywood’s Sin City Theatre, treats all dads to a complimentary VIP seating upgrade in honor of Father’s Day.

The 70-minute show features 14 acts of mind-bending illusions and an unconventional cast, including the wonders of Mary Poppins, the theatrics of Charlie Chaplin and the animation of Mickey Mouse, along with an original soundtrack created by the French magician. (You can’t get any more eclectic than this!)

Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream performs from Saturday through Thursday at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $49 for general admission and $69 for VIP.

Cabo Wabo Cantina

Located within Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Miracle Mile Shops, Cabo Wabo Cantina offers the Paparita, a specialty margarita made with Cabo Wabo tequila, Grand Marnier and finished with a miniature Dos Equis bottle. Dad can pair his drink with a carne asada burrito (enchilada-style available); New York steak ranchero (pictured above) or the CW chimichanga.

Cabo Wabo Cantina is open daily from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Trevi restaurant in the Forum Shops - Father's Day pasta special includes a free beer

Located in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, TREVI Italian Restaurant celebrate ‘festa del papà’ with two of dad’s favorite things — beef and beer. This Father’s Day, treat dad to the restaurant’s featured short rib ravioli (pictured above) and a free Peroni beer.

Priced at $23, the house-made pasta is filled with braised short ribs with roasted seasonal vegetables and red wine demi-sauce. Dads can wash down the fine meal with a complimentary Peroni, a favorite Italian beer. (Who’s the favorite kid now?)

VooDoo Dinner Series Experience 

On Sunday, June 17, guests can enjoy a Father’s Day Whiskey & Cigar Dinner. Reception starts at 5 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. Dinner costs $95 a person and includes Ardbeg 10 year cocktail, Glenmorangie La Santa, Quinta Ruban, Nectar d’Or, and finish with Signet. Get tickets.

Record-breaking global comedy superstar and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham brings his cast of characters on the road this summer with his new “Passively Aggressive” tour.

He performs at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $49.50.

Neo Soul Series featuring Dru Hill

Somebody better not be sleeping in your bed when you’re vacationing in Vegas, but it’s fun to sing along to this popular Dru Hill song anyway. Catch a live performance of R&B troupe Dru Hill at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade on Friday, June 22. Dru Hill is also known for hits like “Tell Me,” “How Deep Is Your Love” and “Incomplete,” among others.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets for the 18-and-older event start at $35.

Go girl, it’s your birthday… and hey, even if it’s not, Trey Songz alone is worth celebrating. Keep the party mode going and head back to Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell that night and see the R&B superstar Saturday night, June 23. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

June 24 – 30

Katchafire

See New Zealand roots reggae band Katchafire at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade on Sunday, June 24. Katchafire is best known for hits like “Down With You” and “Giddy Up.”

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The event is 18 years and up. Tickets are $25.

VooDoo Dinner Series Experience 

Rounding out the last of the June dining series, diners can enjoy a Private Independence Day Fireworks Dinner on June 30. This dinner comes with Champagne by Perrier Jouet. The reception starts at 7 p.m., with five-course dinner at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 9 p.m., followed by dessert and Champagne. This VooDoo dinner is $150 a person. Get tickets.
