February is a big month in Las Vegas with lots of festivities centered around the Big Game, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year. If that’s not enough to fill your belly with everything from chicken wings to dumplings, the newest restaurant from celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis opens its doors the weekend of Feb. 10. Get to Pronto by Giada at Caesars Palace, well, pronto, to try her tasty sandwiches, gelato and specialty coffee drinks. There’s also a packed concert calendar to keep your ears happy. Read on to plan your perfect February adventure in Vegas.

Have you made your reservation yet at Gordon Ramsay’s newest Las Vegas restaurant? HELL’S KITCHEN at Caesars Palace is open for business, and it’s been packed since doors opened. Come try the delicious Beef Wellington everyone is raving about and save room for Chef Ramsay’s signature sticky toffee pudding.

Jenny from the Strip
Jennifer Lopez returns to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood for two sparkle-encrusted, glitter-covered nights, Feb. 21 and 23 with her JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE residency. Jenny from the block takes over the Strip with hits like “On The Floor,” “Get Right” and “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.”
David Tao at The Colosseum
Taiwanese singer David Tao brings his unique blend of R&B and hard rock tunes to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Feb. 24. The Golden Melody Award winner celebrates Chinese New Year with his popular music that has changed up the Mandopop industry.

Sports stars take over Caesars Palace
Looking for a unique Las Vegas show? Renegades at Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace is the show for you. Rebels of the sports world have banded together in this interactive show unlike any other. It offers an up-close-and-personal experience with sports stars where no subject is off limits. You’ll become the sports reporter while you toss questions to the greats about their time both on and off the field. The roster of athletes will rotate. The starting lineup includes two-time Super Bowl champion Jim McMahon, six-time NFL Pro Bowler Terrell Owens and Michigan Wolverines Fab Five’s Jimmy King. The show runs Sundays, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day all month
Sprinkles Cupcakes at The LINQ Promenade is too tasty to limit Valentine’s Day festivities to just one day. Celebrate all month with their specialty Valentine’s flavors. It will be love at first bite with the Sprinkles Raspberry Chocolate Chip cupcakes. These chocolate chip-studded Belgian dark chocolate cupcakes are topped with luscious raspberry frosting, sure to put a smile on your love’s face. If you like it hot, try the Sprinkles Red Hot Velvet, which is a classic red velvet cake paired with spicy cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Ice cream lovers can enjoy the Cherry Vanilla flavor featuring imported Morello cherries simmered in California pinot noir in a delicious Madagascar bourbon vanilla ice cream.

INFERNO: The Fire Spectacular has joined the exciting entertainment lineup at Paris Las Vegas. Internationally acclaimed magician Joe Labero teams up with Europe’s craziest fire artists who do death-defying fire stunts in a show that can only be described has hot, hot, HOT!

Backstreet’s Back
Alright! Backstreet Boys return to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino with their “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life” residency. Hear all your faves like “I Want It That Way” and “As Long As You Love Me” in this dance-fueled spectacle. Catch them Feb. 2 – 3, 7, 9 – 10, 14 and 16 – 17.
Van the Man
Iconic singer Van Morrison returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a night of memorable music. Van Morrison is known for tunes like “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Moondance” and “Have I Told You Lately.” In case you weren’t aware, it’s Sir Van Morrison now, as of his knighting for his musical achievements in 2016.

Triple Shot Of Zedd
At the opposite end of the musical spectrum, Russian-German DJ Zedd visits OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace three times during February. Catch his electro house, dubstep and progressive house music at the hot nightclub Feb. 3, 10 and 16.

Are you ready for some football?
It doesn’t get any bigger than the Big Game in Vegas. This Sunday it’s all about chicken wings, onion rings and beer… uh, we mean football. Plan where you’ll be watching all the action and what you’ll be eating and drinking with our massive Big Game Guide.
Just in time for the Big Game, Canter’s Deli at The LINQ Promenade, has added TVs so you can catch all the sporting action while you devour a delicious pastrami on rye.

February 5-11:
Mardi Gras events and specials
If you’re not in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Las Vegas is the perfect place to enjoy a little excess and embrace the Fat Tuesday vibes. Starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10, watch a Mardi Gras parade wind its way down the Strip from Flamingo to Harrah’s. Start out at the Southwest Corner Bar outside of Flamingo, cut across The LINQ Promenade and The LINQ Hotel & Casino then end up at Carnaval Court at Harrah’s where guests can take part in contests and giveaways.
On Feb. 13, The LINQ Promenade will become the Big Easy when it’s decked out in purple, green and gold. Enjoy the tunes of an LED brass band accompanied by stilt walkers performing throughout the evening across the promenade. If you’re familiar with New Orleans protocol, you’ll be ready to jump in and join as the “second line” of the parade. Local jazz group The Matt Seward Band will perform sets from 6-10 p.m. on the fountain stage.

Sprinkles Cupcakes at The LINQ Promenade will celebrate with sweets on Feb. 13. The tasty cupcake bakery will offer a special Mardi Gras cupcake featuring vanilla cake, filled with sprinkles with vanilla buttercream frosting and a festive rainbow sprinkle rim. They’ll have a custom decoration of a Mardi Gras mask on top.
If you’re looking for something a little more savory to celebrate, Tilted Kilt at The LINQ Promenade offers seafood gumbo to fill you up with southern goodness.
It’s hard to “laissez les bon temps rouler” without a little king cake. That’s “let the good times roll” and king cake is a traditional Mardi Gras dessert, for the uninitiated. Grab your mini king cakes at the following locations:

Pronto by Giada opens for business
Pronto by Giada officially opens its doors the weekend of Feb. 10. Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis brings her signature California-influenced Italian fare to Caesars Palace. The brand new fast casual restaurant will offer specialty coffees like nitro options and fun foam art. You’ll also be able to grab a cocktail or glass of wine form the full-service bar. The menu includes delectable breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, antipasti, paninis, salads, sandwiches and desserts like gelato, sorbetto and her famous lemon ricotta cookies.

The Rocket Man returns
Joining Van Morrison in the Sirs who grace The Colosseum’s stage category, Sir Elton John returns with The Million Dollar Piano residency. Look forward to hits like “Rocket Man,” “Benny and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer” and “Crocodile Rock” and we totally won’t judge you if you shed a tear during his emotional songs from “The Lion King.” Not like we did or anything… sniff, sniff. He’ll perform Feb. 9 – 10, 11, 16 – 18, 21- 22, 25 and 27.

Valentine’s Day
While you’re recovering from the Mardi Gras festivities, it’s time to embrace love and let yourself succumb to Cupid’s arrow for some Valentine’s Day fun. Pick a romantic place for dinner, plan an evening ride on the High Roller (the world’s tallest observation wheel) and wow your date.

Erykah Badu is going for the three-peat. She’s returning to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade for a third consecutive year with her signature blend of spiritually and socially conscious R&B, hip-hop and jazz. Chinese New Year
The LINQ Promenade celebrates Chinese New Year with a four-day celebration Feb. 16-19. Check out Lion Dances nightly at 6 p.m. at The LINQ Fountain Stage, accompanied by musicians and artists from Caesars Entertainment’s live shows, plus musicians and artists from China. Enjoy festive decorations like wishing trees, traditional lanterns and Chinese knots along the promenade.
The LINQ Promenade restaurants will celebrate Chinese New Year with dining specials. Off the Strip, Virgil’s Real BBQ, Canter’s Deli and Tilted Kilt will all offer a complimentary appetizer with entrée purchase Feb. 16-18. Jaburritos will offer a complimentary side with purchase of a sushi burrito or bowl and Chayo will celebrate by offering free chips and salsa. Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and ameriCAN will offer 15% off of food purchases. Sprinkles is offering a free cupcake with purchase of any cupcake if you whisper, “year of the dog.” More like year of the yum!

Promenade retail merchants are getting in on the celebration too with discounts. Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop will celebrate Chinese New Year with the Luck Gift Tin, filled with 15 intense dark chocolates, offered two for $20. VR Adventures and Pier 30 will offer 15% off of purchases and Welcome to Las Vegas offers 10% off.
