A new year is all about change and The LINQ Promenade is celebrating 2017 with lots of fresh new Las Vegas restaurants and shops.
Some of the spots opened near the end of 2016 and some are set to open soon. Here’s a look at what’s new at the popular open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district.
Recently opened
Virgil’s Real Barbecue
The Las Vegas Strip welcomed its newest barbecue joint, Virgil’s Real Barbecue, in early December. Carnivores can take their pick of flavors from Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, the Carolinas and Missouri. Dig into pork ribs, chicken, beef brisket and sides including barbecue baked beans, mashed potatoes, collard greens, coleslaw and cheese grits.
Honolulu Cookie Company
You can satisfy your sweet tooth with this popular Hawaiian cookie company, which opened in December. They’re famous for their delicious pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies.
Flavors include butter macadamia, chocolate dipped macadamia, dark chocolate coconut, white chocolate Kona Coffee, chocolate chip macadamia and more.
Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips
Celeb chef Gordon Ramsay’s opened his fourth Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips at The LINQ Promenade in October. The authentic takeaway-style British restaurant serves Ramsay’s famous fish and chips as well as chicken, shrimp and sausages. You’ll also want to try the hand-crafted shakes (trust us, get the Biscoff flavor), lemonades or ice-cold beer.
Amorino
One of Europe’s top gelato brands, Amorino offers 24 delectable options as well as seasonal flavors in their famous flower-shaped cone. The shop opened late last summer and has been delighting customers with gelato as well as breakfast pastries, gelato-filled macarons and artisanal chocolates.
Urban Turban Express
Indian food fans can grab fresh favorites to go from Urban Turban Express. Urban Turban has a full service restaurant in Las Vegas and opened this kiosk at the LINQ Promenade last fall. The menu features chicken tikka masala, a variety of vegetarian dishes, naanwiches (freshly grilled chicken wrapped in naan bread) and Indian drinks like mango lassi.
VR Adventures
Virtual reality geeks have a fun new place to get their game on at VR Adventures. Guests put on high-tech goggles and are transported to a virtual reality. Unlike other video games, VR Adventures requires gamers to use hand movement, walk, sidestep or jump to explore or fly through the virtual world.
VR Adventures offers gamers up to four unique experiences. Zipline and parachute high above the Las Vegas Strip, soar like a superhero, fly over the Alps while shooting down enemy drones, and find your way out of a haunted house.
High Roller Wheelhouse
The High Roller Wheelhouse recently finished renovations, making way for more hospitality event space like the Pre-Roll Room. This room at the world’s tallest observation wheel is perfect for hosting parties, receptions and business meetings.
IN-N-OUT BURGER
In-N-Out fans can get their Double-Double burgers and Animal-Style fries from the chain’s first Las Vegas Strip location at The LINQ Promenade. In addition to the famous food, guests can enjoy an outdoor patio and a retail store with T-shirts, mugs and other branded items.
Coming soon
Jaburritos
Sushi burritos are all the rage these days and you’ll be able to get your fix at Jaburritos this month. Known for handcrafted, fresh burrito-style sushi, the restaurant also offers hungry patrons an array of tempting salads, rice bowls, nachos and juices, all made to order.
Canter’s Deli
The iconic Canter’s Deli is set for a spring opening at The LINQ Promenade. The restaurant will feature an outdoor patio just in time for perfect weather. The deli is famous for its fresh baked rye bread, one of the secrets to their mouthwatering sandwiches stacked high with a half-pound of corned beef or pastrami. You can also get deli favorites like lox, potato cakes, tuna melts and New York-style cheesecake.
