It’s a busy month in Las Vegas. September starts out with a three-day weekend for Labor Day, filled with parties and concerts to celebrate the end of summer.

The football season also kicks off this month and there’s no place like Vegas to catch the action in sports books, sports bars and restaurants all across the city.

September is also time to celebrate Mexican Independence Day and Vegas does it in style with food and drink specials and tons of top Latin entertainers.

Here’s what’s going on in September in Las Vegas:

Sept. 1 – 7

Labor Day Weekend

Catch the last days of summer with a three-day weekend in Vegas. We’ve got pool parties, football, concerts and much more. Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will pump up their Strip-side patio throughout the weekend with a DJ on Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1, from noon until 3 a.m. Ryan Whyte Maloney, who appeared on season six of NBC’s “The Voice,” will perform live music beginning at 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2.

Rock out with one of music’s legendary groups, Def Leppard, as they take over the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Sept. 1, 4, 6 and 7.

“Def Leppard Hits Vegas: The Sin City Residency” will feature all your fan favorite hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Love Bites,” “Rock of Ages,” “Photograph,” “Hysteria,” “Armageddon It” and many more.

General ticket prices begin at $69, plus tax and fees. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is unveiling a new look with a grand reopening featuring two shows from country superstar Keith Urban Sept. 6 and 7, 2019.

Get ready to hear all of Urban’s chart-topping songs like “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” “Somebody Like You,” “Days Go By,” “Long Hot Summer” and “Stupid Boy.”

General ticket prices begin at $59, plus tax and fees. The shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Scott Stapp of Creed with Messer and Sunflower Dead

Grammy winning songwriter and front man for Creed, Scott Stapp, will perform at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.

Stapp is known for his work both with Creed (“With Arms Wide Open,” “My Sacrifice” and “Higher”) and as a solo artist. He released the platinum-certified “The Great Divide” in 2005 and “Proof of Life” in 2013, which featured his first solo Billboard No. 1, “Slow Suicide.”

Tickets are $30 and up and the show is for guests 18 and older.

O’Sheas 30 Days of Shenanigans

O’Sheas Casino at The LINQ Hotel + Experience is celebrating its 30th anniversary this September. The Irish-themed icon opened in 1989 and returned to The LINQ more than five years ago. Beginning Sept. 1, O’Sheas will celebrate 30 days of shenanigans with month-long drink specials, new weekly events, daily entertainment and a Grand Finale bash on Saturday, Sept. 28.

From Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, O’Sheas will feature live bands daily beginning at 7 p.m. DJs will then take over and keep the party going all night long. Don’t miss the month-long drink features with $3 birthday shots made with Jameson and peach schnapps, $3 Murphy’s Irish Stout and other Jameson and cocktail specials.

There will also be two new weekly events—beer pong tournaments on Thursdays and St. Patrick’s Day Fridays. Beginning Thursday, Sept. 5, join in and cheer on weekly beer pong tournaments. Sign-up begins at noon on the day of, with tournaments starting at 4 p.m. Beginning Sept. 6, every Friday throughout the month will go green with St. Patrick’s Day Fridays. Brian “Lucky” Thomas, the face of O’Sheas for nearly 15 years, will host games, trivia and raffles. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, O’Sheas will host a 30th Grand Finale birthday bash with famous friends, games, live bands and more. Games like Wheel of Destiny, Rapid Fire Beer Pong, flip cup and more begin that day at 4 p.m., with a green carpet, toast and Darby O’Gill and Flannel Channel performing throughout the night.

Sept. 8 -14

Football kicks off this weekend and Vegas is the next best place to be if you’re not at the actual games.

Caesars Entertainment properties in Vegas offer some amazing football experiences. We’ve got bars, lounges, special events and restaurants with all of your favorite game-day food.

Mexican Independence Day Weekend

Las Vegas always throws a great party for Mexican Independence Day weekend. You can find tasty Mexican food specials and see some of the biggest and brightest Latin entertainers in the world.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will honor Mexican Independence Day with a fiesta of food from Sept. 11 – 16.

Cabo Wabo’s executive chef, Tacho Kneeland, will prepare a traditional Mexican parrillada, served with marinated and seasoned meats, including BBQ pork ribs, carne asada, achiote chicken and chorizo; as well as grilled onions, jalapeños, rice, beans and flour tortillas. The platter is priced at $28.95 for an individual serving and $46.95, prepared for two.

For entertainment, there’s a lot to choose from. Latin superstar Luis Miguel will perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Sept. 12, 13, 15 and 16.

Enrique Iglesias will also do a show at The Colosseum on Sept. 14.

The Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will be the home of several shows from top Latin acts.

Banda MS will perform Sept. 13, Gloria Trevi takes over on Sept. 14 and Marc Anthony will round out the weekend on Sept. 15.

Six-time Grammy Award-winning musical icon, Dionne Warwick, presents her limited engagement “An Evening With Dionne Warwick,” at Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace Sept. 12, 13, 14 and 15.

Celebrating over 50 years in music, Warwick has had over 75 charted hit songs and sales of over 100 million records worldwide.

Warwick had her first hit in 1962 with “Don’t Make Me Over.” Less than a decade later, she had recorded more than 18 consecutive top 100 singles, including “Walk on By,” “Anyone Who Had a Heart,” “Message to Michael,” “Promises Promises,” “A House Is Not a Home,” “Say a Little Prayer,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again” and the theme from “Valley of the Dolls.” Warwick received her first Grammy Award in 1968 for “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and a second Grammy in 1970 for her bestselling album, “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.”

Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera brings her powerful voice to the Vegas stage with her residency, “Christina Aguilera: The Xperience” at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Sept. 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28.

Throughout her career, she has sold more than 43 million records worldwide. Aguilera has achieved five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the fourth female artist to top the chart over three consecutive decades

Fans will hear all of their favorites like “Come On Over,” “Beautiful,” “What A Girl Wants,” “Genie In A Bottle,” “Dirrty,” and more.

Tickets start at $60 (plus applicable tax and fees). All shows begin at 9 p.m.

The name of the show says it all. “Rod Stewart: The Hits” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is packed with all of the legendary rocker’s most popular songs.

Stewart gets audiences on their feet with a set list of the iconic rock and R & B favorites that have defined his five-decade-long career. Get ready to hear “Maggie May,” “You Wear it Well,” “Hot Legs,” “You’re in My Heart,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy,” “Tonight’s The Night” and “Some Guys Have All the Luck.”

Stewart will play Sept. 18, 20, 21, 24 and 30. Tickets start at $49 and up. Show time is 7:30 p.m.

Former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Finesse Mitchell will be making audiences laugh at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ Promenade Sept. 19 – 22.

Mitchell performs stand-up comedy to sold-out shows across the country. Known for his witty take on timely subjects, relationship humor and politics, he appeals to all demographics. He’s a regular panelist on The Wendy Williams Show and is currently writing his much-anticipated second book on relationships.

Tickets start at $29. Shows begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday with shows at 8 and 10 p.m. Friday – Sunday.

Sept. 22 – 30

Stand-up comic and TV star Jerry Seinfeld brings his critically-acclaimed brand of humor to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Sept. 27-28.

Seinfeld was behind one of the most successful shows in the history of television, “Seinfeld,” and is again enjoying success with his Emmy-nominated web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Show time is 7:30 p.m. and tickets start from $82.50 plus tax and fees.

O’Sheas 30th Grand Finale Birthday Bash

On Saturday, Sept. 28, O’Sheas at The LINQ Hotel + Experience will host a 30th Grand Finale birthday bash with famous friends, games, live bands and more.
