Summer is heating up and so is the entertainment in Las Vegas in July. We’ve got major headliners like Mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys, The Who and Reba, Brooks & Dunn. We’ve also got the hottest DJs spinning in the clubs. Check out Calvin Harris, Kaskade and more.

Of course the major holiday in July is Independence Day. Don’t miss the fireworks on the Strip from Caesars Palace. July also means pool season is in full swing so be sure to catch a pool party like Kickstart at The LINQ.

Pitbull: Time of Our Lives at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

International music sensation Pitbull returns to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for shows July 21, 22, 26 and 28 – 29. Mr. Worldwide has sold more than 60 million singles around the globe. He’s had No. 1 hits in more than 15 countries. Don’t miss your chance to hear “Give Me Everything,” “Feel This Moment,” “I Know You Want Me” and “Time of Our Lives” live in Las Vegas. Show time is 9 p.m. and tickets are priced from $39.

Everclear at Flamingo GO Pool

Rock band Everclear takes the stage for Night Jams at the Flamingo Las Vegas GO Pool on July 16. The band was popular in the ’90s with many hit songs like “Santa Monica,” “I Will Buy You a New Life,” “Father of Mine” and “Wonderful.” Tickets for Night Jams are available at www.gopoolvegas.com.

Erykah Badu at Brooklyn Bowl

Enjoy the soulful sounds of Erykah Badu at Brooklyn Bowl at The LINQ Promenade on July 20. The singer and actress will perform fan favorites like “On & On,” “Bag Lady” and “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop).” The show begins at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $59.50 and up.

O’Sheas Casino at The LINQ Hotel & Casino will keep the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day alive by celebrating “The Year of the Leprechaun” with drink specials, live entertainment and leprechauns July 17.

The celebration will kick off at noon with beer and margarita specials and beer pong.

CeeLo Green at Caesars Palace

Five-time Grammy winner CeeLo Green will perform an intimate limited engagement at Cleopatra’s Barge in Caesars Palace on July 21, 22 and 28 – 29. The singer will take the stage with a two-piece band to perform his greatest hits like “Forget You” and “Crazy.” Tickets start at $119. The show begins at 8 p.m.

Things to Do In Las Vegas:  July 23 – 31

Get ready for a night of laughs on July 23 when comedians and actors Steve Martin and Martin Short hit The Colosseum stage for their show, “An Evening You Will Forget for The Rest of Your Life.”

This hilarious pair will chat about their careers, creative influences and most memorable encounters, uniquely presented though a blend of conversation, banter, singing and banjo playing. They will be joined by special musical guest the Steep Canyon Rangers.

Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced from $49.95.

Echo & The Bunnymen at Brooklyn Bowl

English rock band Echo & The Bunnymen will take the Brooklyn Bowl stage July 28. The band, which hit the height of their popularity in the 1980s, has a cult following. Their best-known songs are “The Killing Moon” and “Lips Like Sugar.” Fans will also remember their song “Bring on the Dancing Horses,” which was featured in the film “Pretty in Pink.” Show time is 8 p.m. and tickets are $37.50 and up.

The Who at Caesars Palace

Legendary rock band The Who becomes the first rock band to take residency at The Colosseum beginning July 29. Since forming in 1964, The Who has sold more 100 million records. Now into their 53rd year, the band, with original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, is still going strong and still playing hits like “My Generation,” “Pinball Wizard,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” See these rock icons at Caesars Palace. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $76 and up.

Grab your tickets and get ready to rock your body to all of the hits from Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson.The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $99.

Wiz Khalifa at Drai’s Nightclub

Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell is home to the hottest DJs and live performances. The Drai’s Live concert series heats up July 1 with a performance by singer and rapper Wiz Khalifa. Khalifa is known for his hits “Black and Yellow” and “See You Again.” Tickets are $40 for women and $60 for men.

Superstar country entertainers Reba, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn join forces for their residency show REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas at The Colosseum July 1 – 2.  You’ll hear all of your favorite hits from each of the artists as well as songs the trio will perform together. You’ll know Brooks & Dunn songs like “My Maria,” “Neon Moon,” “Rock My World (Little Country Girl)” and many more. Reba fans will be singing along with hits like “The Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia,” “Turn on the Radio” and “The Heart Won’t Lie.” Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $59.50.

The LINQ Promenade is hosting an All-American BLOQ Party July 1 – 2. Restaurants along the Promenade will have bar and food carts outside with special prices.

Family-friendly entertainment will abound from noon – 5 p.m. Check out stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painters, caricature artists and DJs. From 6 – 10 p.m. each night there will be live entertainment on the fountain stage and an LED drumline.

Cornhole Tournament at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Are you a cornhole master? Join the tournament at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s pool on July 1 beginning at 1 p.m.

Get your team together and get ready to compete. There’s a $50 entry fee and each team will be given one bucket of beer (Miller or Coors), two tickets for any Jack Daniels cocktail and one T-Shirt per player.

First place will win $2,500. Second place will win $1,500. Third place will win $500. Various other prizes sponsored by Jack Daniel’s Spirits will be given out to teams finishing outside of the top three places.

Fireworks on the Strip July 2

Celebrate Independence Day with a spectacular fireworks show on the Las Vegas Strip at 9 p.m. on July 2. Grab a spot in front of Caesars Palace’s iconic fountains. There are multiple viewing parties for the fireworks including: Venus European Pool Lounge, The Vortex at The LINQ Hotel & Casino, The High Roller at The LINQ Promenade and the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. Food and Fireworks at Beer Park

Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas will celebrate Independence Day with a rooftop barbecue, featuring food and drink specials from Saturday, July 1 to Tuesday, July 4.

Beer Park will kick off the Fourth of July festivities with hot dog and ice cream carts throughout the venue. There will also be a beer bucket special on Budweiser’s Ameri-cans, priced at $18 for a bucket of six, 16-ounce cans. Guests at the rooftop venue will also be able to watch the July 2 fireworks show on the Strip from a great vantage point.

Party like a patriot this Independence Day at Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ bar and restaurant will celebrate America’s birthday by hosting a patio party with live music, fireworks and food and drinks from June 30 to July 4. The party will feature the Cabo Flight, which includes Cabo Wabo Blanco, Cabo Wabo Reposado and Cabo Wabo Anejo, priced at $21. Guests can also enjoy signature dishes like the nacho platter priced at $14.95; carne asada tacos priced at $15.95; and the Cabo Wabo chimichanga for $17.95. The celebration will be complete with views of the fireworks and live music.

Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas will host a viewing party for the UFC 213 fight between Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes and Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko on Saturday, July 8.

Current reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Nunes looks to fend off Shevchenko for a second time following her victory over the Russian fighter at UFC 196 last year.

Fans can enjoy the fight on dozens of high-definition TVs throughout the venue. Beer Park also offers an in-house sports book. Admission is $25.

The 48th World Series of Poker (WSOP) gets down to the Main Event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

The $10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em WSOP Main Event championship is slated to run over 10 consecutive days from July 8 – July 17. It will feature three starting flights – Saturday, July 8; Sunday, July 9; and Monday, July 10.

Nearly 500 poker tables will be set up across more than 100,000 square feet of ballroom space to accommodate the thousands of players from around the world.

Over the past 46 years, Dunham and his famous characters, Walter, Achmed, Bubba J, Peanut and José Jalapeno have garnered numerous accolades. Dunham has sold more than 7 million DVDs worldwide and has nearly a billion views on YouTube. Tickets start at $49.50 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
