We’re all due for a vacation, so what better way to unwind than in Vegas?

While Vegas is famous for its huge crowds, over-the-top celebrations and all-night revelries, you’ll be surprised with all the other ways you can have fun here… all while having your space. So if you ever wanted to splurge on a solo trip (or have alone time with your partner in crime), we’ve gathered up our top 10 fun places to visit in Vegas – all without having to be in the mix.

Top 10 Places To Visit in Vegas

Start On A Sweet Note

Did you just reach for the cocktail glass in this picture above? We sure as heck did!

We’re sure you’re in need of a refreshing drink after your arrival. So what’s better than a candy-infused martini that counts as a drink and a show?

Head to I LOVE SUGAR at The LINQ Promenade and get your candy fix with a dash of adult fun. The 21-and-older Candy Martini Bar is your one-stop shop for a sugar rush fix, complete with a nice little buzz. The menu features drinks centered around your favorite candies, from chocolates to gummy treats to sour sweets. And if you want to take a piece of the sweetness home with you, the first floor’s vast candy shop does not disappoint. We’ll toast to all of this!

Take A Dip

The refreshing treats don’t stop at your taste buds. Give your entire body a cool, refreshing feel at any of our Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas pools.

We don’t know about you, but we actually prefer our pool time solo. Be a pool princess (or prince) at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace and choose from several different pool experiences. Or, have up-close Eiffel Tower views at the Paris Las Vegas Soleil Pool. Practice your laps at Bally’s Las VegasBlu Pool, or experience paradise on the Strip at Flamingo Las Vegas‘ GO Pool. Thinking of getting a daybed or cabana? At Harrah’s Las Vegas’ pool, you’re only steps away from the water.

Relax In A Pool Cabana

Aruba, Jamaica, why not a ca-ba-na in Las Vegas?

A pool cabana is perfect – for one, you get much-needed shade and two, you don’t have to worry about anyone in your space, unless you want them there.

We love the cabanas at all of our properties, but for fantastic garden views, the Soleil Pool at Paris Las Vegas is utterly gorgeous. For something smaller, you can always opt for a daybed.

Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace offers poolside services Thursday through Sunday at its branded cabana. Or, the spa attendants can also go to your own private cabana for services. Oh, the life!

SHAKE YOUR TAIL FEATHER

The outdoor action doesn’t stop at the pools. If you’re up for a nature walk and love exotic animals, we have the spot for you.

The clubs may be on hold right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t shake your tail feather with the wild and exotic birds at Flamingo’s Wildlife Habitat. Hang out with Chilean flamingos, koi fish, a variety of ducks and much more. Best of all, this attraction is free and open to the public.

FLY LINQ at The LINQ Promenade - places to visit in Vegas

Say It With Us: Up, Up And Awaaay We Go!

If you love the outdoors, but also live for adventure, your best bet is to fly down The LINQ Promenade on the action-packed FLY LINQ Zip Line. Whether you want to take the leap forwards or backwards, this is your chance to truly fly solo. The views are spiffy too, so make sure to keep your eyes open. While you’re here, you might as well ride the 550-foot-tall High Roller Observation Wheel. It’s well worth it. Post those pictures and give everyone FOMO.

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace - places to visit in Vegas

Find Your Perfect Look

Shopping is always fun solo. So what will it be? The latest Louis Vuitton purse? A killer pair of Jimmy Choo heels? Or you can ball on a budget and score an entire week’s wardrobe at H&M without having to pull out from your savings.

Or, if you just want to escape the heat, explore the breathtaking architecture at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace (like in the photo above). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with going up and down the spiral escalator a few times.

Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away With A Spa Day

Just like an ideal pool or shopping day, we also prefer our spa days solo. If you wanted to spend your entire afternoon at Qua Baths & Spa inside Caesars Palace, that can easily be done.

While the public amenities are temporarily closed, you can still escape to heavenly bliss. Select from 50-minute or 80-minute massages and facials, or the 120-minute Signature Hourglass treatment, which includes a customized facial, body treatment, hot stones, aromatherapy and more.

Dine Al Fresco

With so many things to do in Vegas, you gotta eat too. (That’s this blogger’s No. 1 hobby!) Believe it or not, many of us prefer to sit outside. Yes, even in these extreme temps. (Hey, sometimes you need a little bit of sun!) Lucky for you, the Vegas Strip has plenty of outdoor restaurants.

Check out the list of currently open restaurants in Las Vegas.

Chayo, Flour & Barley, Virgil’s and Maxie’s are all at The LINQ Promenade and each have large patios perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying your meal.

For an upscale outdoor dining experience, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas is a great option and you can people-watch too.

Treat Yourself To Something Real Fancy

Speaking of upscale, why not have the works? This is your time to do it. Have you ever thought of planning a dinner for one? You can take your time, sip your wine, order up a storm and no need to worry about engaging in a conversation while you’re indulging on fine cuisine. We think the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas is perfect for its swanky views of the Las Vegas Strip.

End On A Suite Note

Aha! see what we did here? Started on a sweet note and ended on a… well you get the idea!

Never had an entire Las Vegas suite to yourself? Well, it’s about time you did. It’s so peaceful and you don’t have to worry about anything or anyone but yourself. Sleep in. Binge watch your favorite show. Take a nice long bath. Take all those mirror selfies. Where your robe all day. No one’s judging you. In fact, we want to be you.

Harrah’s Las Vegas’ Valley Tower Presidential Suite is a real beauty. The hotel recently completed renovations, and the new suites are quite spacious and reasonably priced.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
