A typical visit to Las Vegas involves things like seeing a show, eating at a celebrity chef’s restaurant and partying at the hottest new nightspot. But we don’t want you to do “typical.” We want you to experience something a little extra.

We’re all about the exclusive vacation that will give all of your friends a serious case of FOMO. Here’s how to go behind the scenes in Vegas and check out the things only a few are privileged to see.

The Krug Chef’s Table at Restaurant Guy Savoy

Ever dream of being a “Food Network” star? Let’s face it, the odds are stacked against you, but in Vegas you can at least pretend for one night. Take a private cooking class at Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace and you’ll be in the restaurant’s kitchen learning how to make some of the acclaimed French chef’s signature dishes.

The lessons are $265 per person with a maximum of six people. Executive Chef Julien Asseo will show you how to prepare one appetizer and one entrée (and yes, you’ll get to eat them afterwards). Call 702-731-7286 for reservations.

If you’d rather sit back and watch someone else make your food, you can also do that at Restaurant Guy Savoy. The six-seat Krug Chef’s Table gives you an intimate view of the kitchen and you can observe how the chefs in this award-winning restaurant prepare Guy Savoy’s signature cuisine. You’ll enjoy a 10-course tasting menu perfectly paired with two glasses of Krug’s famous Champagnes. The chef’s table experience is $500 per person for two to six people.

Wine Tasting at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino boasts an IMPRESSIVE collection of wine at its Wine Cellar & Tasting Room. We’re talking 10,000 bottles that are worth more than $10 million. They even have a bottle of 1800 Madeira from Thomas Jefferson’s cellar.

You can pop into the Wine Cellar anytime for a taste of more than 100 wines by the glass with a little help from the expert wine stewards behind the bar.

But if you want a more behind-the-scenes, instagram-worthy experience, you can book a wine tasting party at the venue or take a private wine tasting seminar. It’s perfect for people who want to learn the difference between Merlot and Bordeaux.
