Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. What better way to celebrate the most romantic holiday other than a fun, spontaneous weekend trip to Vegas? Sure, chocolates in heart-shaped boxes, a dozen roses and a sparkling bracelet are decent gifts and all, but a getaway to Sin City will really warm your boo’s heart.  Wondering where to spend your Valentines Day in Vegas this year?

Here are some of our favorite spots to eat, pop the question and stay in Vegas:

Valentines Day in Vegas 2020

Eat

Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas - Valentines Day in Vegas 2020

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Let’s start with the obvious. What’s more romantic and exciting than Paris? We say Paris in Vegas. And if you really want to wine and dine your mate, head to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. If you’re reading this, we’ll guess that that Table 56 is probably already booked, but any seat in the house (especially a window seat) provides that romantic ambiance.

The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are spiffy, but let’s move on to the fine dining items. Enjoy lavish items like whole boneless Dover sole, foie gras torchon with fig compote, Beef Wellington with sautéed snap peas and Rossini-style filet mignon with truffle sauce. Vegetarians can enjoy the California cauliflower “steak” with olive and capers, or the vegetable and quinoa Wellington with tomato and heirloom basil coulis. If this is your first date, you’ve already won their heart with this menu.

Mon Ami Gabi

Let’s keep the romance in France going, shall we? This one doesn’t sit a hundred feet high like the previous resty, but Mon Ami Gabi’s patio is perfect for a Valentine’s Day brunch. While you get to people-watch with the patio’s Strip-side seating, you can enjoy menu items like Bananas Foster waffles, chicken and mushroom crepe with brie and kale, a vegan onion soup or the cavatelli pasta, to name a few. End on a sweet note with a vanilla bean crème brûlée or a vegan-friendly sorbet. The impressive wine list is also not to be missed.

Gordon Ramsay Steak

This may be our third Paris Las Vegas recommendation but hey. Paris is the City of Love and this is a Valentine’s Day blog after all. The sophisticated Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant recently got a revamped look and a fresh new menu. One of the popular vegetarian items is the Veggie Wellington made with marinated tofu and mushroom duxelle in a puff pastry or the restaurant’s vegan crab cakes, made with hearts of palm and served with vegan tartar sauce and a fennel salad.

GIADA at The Cromwell - Valentines Day in Vegas 2020

GIADA at The Cromwell

The Strip view at GIADA is wow-worthy, but the restaurant itself feels nice, airy and open. Plus, the smell of fresh artisan bread greets you the second you set foot in this fine Italian eatery. A popular dish is the lemon spaghetti. Plus there are vegan options, like the eggplant stack or pecorino crostini. We’re a fan of the citrus-marinated olives.

Stay

Planning a Vegas Valentine’s Day weekend? Then you gotta do it up and stay in a Vegas suite. You’ll be thanking us later. Want some pointers on the best ones? Here are a few of our favorites:

Boulevard Suite inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas

Boulevard Suite

This swing inside the hip Boulevard Suite inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is straight up goals. But how adorbs would it be to rock back and forth on this with your sweetie while going down memory lane? (Cue the “Aww!”) Besides the swing, this Vegas suite has awesome perks like a spacious living room, stylish art pieces and a deep bathtub. Check out more details with our Boulevard Suite experience.

Charlemagne Suite at Paris Las Vegas

CHARLEMAGNE Suite

If you’re going to pop the question (or tie the knot), then the Charlemagne Suite at Paris Las Vegas is where it’s at. After all, what’s more romantic than admiring the Eiffel Tower on the Vegas Strip while sipping champagne in this gorgeous living room?

The Cromwell's Las Vegas Suite - Deluxe Room

Any room at The Cromwell

Vintage vibes with a modern kick? Yes, please! If you wanted to do an editorial-type photo shoot here with your boo, The Cromwell’s hotel rooms are the way to go. The furnishings are on point and you feel like you’re in a swanky apartment more than a room on the Strip. You’re also a quick elevator ride up to Drai’s Nightclub so the party never stops.

Room service at Nobu

Not only will you feel miles away from the Strip (even though you’re actually on the Strip) at Nobu’s Japanese-inspired hotel room, but you can enjoy the finest Japanese cuisine in the comfort of your bathrobe. Talk about taking room service to a whole new level. A nice, finishing touch is to enjoy breakfast in bed while playing Mayer Hawhorne’s “Breakfast In Bed.” How’s that for romance?

Love

Spa Day

We all love pampering treatments, and you’d be surprised with the options available in Vegas. Book a Twin Souls massage at Qua Baths and Spa located inside Caesars Palace, or help your respiratory system in the Himalayan Salt Cave at The LINQ Spa. Ready to go super, super fancy? Take it up a notch and stay in a Nobu Villa where there’s a personal massage room in your suite.

The Forum Shops inside Caesars Palace Las Vegas
Splurge at The Forum Shops

Treat yourself to a shopping spree at (in our opinion) the most beautiful mall in the world – The Forum Shops inside Caesars Palace. Spoil yourself (or your mate) at one of the  many luxury stores and look spiffy for a fab night out. Don’t forget to watch The Fall of Atlantis statue show, located by The Cheesecake Factory and Nike. There’s also the way cool aquarium, located right underneath the statues.

Up, up, and awaaay we go

Whether you want all the Paris vibes at the Eiffel Tower, sky-high views on the High Roller wheel or a more spontaneous way to sight-see on the FLY LINQ (the Strip’s only zipline), soaring to new heights with your boo is where it’s at. The question is, which way will you take on the sky?

Mariah Carey at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas

Mariah Carey – The Butterfly Returns

We leave you with the show of all shows. No Valentine’s Day weekend is complete without seeing our girl MiMi, who is famous for her timeless love ballads and powerhouse vocals. Hear the iconic diva’s biggest hits in her show, “Mariah Carey – The Butterfly Returns” at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace. You’ll be singing your heart out and grooving along the entire set. See Mariah right on Valentine’s Day, or on select days in February.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
