What to Do After Hours in Vegas

You might be used to hearing those dreaded words “last call!” at your hometown hangout, but that’s not even a thing here in Vegas. When the scene in other cities is winding down, we’re just getting started.

Think it’s time to go to bed at 1 a.m.? Think again. Here are the things to do in Las Vegas after hours:

1 a.m. – Take a Spin on the High Roller

Happy Hour on the High Roller

Get your late-night escapades started at the High Roller at The LINQ, which runs until 2 a.m. The 550-foot-high observation wheel is the largest in the world, so you can imagine the amazing views. We think the best way to do the High Roller is inside one of the High Roller Happy Half Hour cabins. Your ticket includes one ride and an open bar. Trust us, you can down quite a few drinks in the 30 minutes it takes for the wheel to go around. Tickets start at $33.

2 a.m.  – Get Your Drink On

Late Night Happy Hour O'Sheas

Carnaval Court at Harrah’s Las Vegas

Before you head out to Drai’s Afterhours (we’ll give you more deets on that later) you’ll want to pregame at one of these bars, which are always open late.

O’Sheas at The LINQ Promenade:  This rowdy Irish pub keeps the party going 24 hours daily with beer pong, table games and live music

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s:  If you want to catch some live country music, Toby Keith’s is open until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Want a free beer? Pop into the gift store next door, buy a 16-ounce “You’re My Friend” cup, bring it to the bar with your receipt, and you’ll score a domestic brew on tap.

Margaritaville at Flamingo Las Vegas: Parrotheads flock to this Jimmy Buffett restaurant and bar for the laid-back vibe, Buffett music and the endless variety of margaritas. We’re talking margarita flights, fruity margaritas, spicy margaritas…you name it. You can even get a 45-ounce souvenir blender cup to take your margarita to go. Margaritaville is open until 3 a.m. on weekends.

Carnaval Court at Harrah’s: Join the open-air street party at Carnaval Court. This center-Strip bar is always hopping with live bands, DJs, flair bartenders and blackjack until 3 a.m.

3 a.m. – Party Your Face Off at Drai’s After Hours

It’s 3 a.m. and things might be slowing down at some of the bars you were just visiting, but the night is still young. Drai’s After Hours is where you go if you’re a serious party animal…or have a serious case of insomnia. The club is open until 10 a.m. Yep, you read that right. While other people are getting up and heading to work, you can still be on the dance floor at Drai’s.

Drai’s has an underground lounge vibe, which makes sense because it’s literally underground. It’s located in the basement level of The Cromwell. The 13,000-square-foot club offers four rooms with two different music formats and 55 bottle service tables

Tip: Bring some shades with you because the sun will be up when you leave and it’ll be a bit hard on the eyes after spending hours in a dark club.

6 a.m. – Eat a Hangover-Busting Breakfast

We all know the best thing to do after a long night of partying is to eat something to prevent a hangover. Here are a few of our favorite spots where you can grab a crazy good breakfast 24 hours a day:

Hash House A Go Go at The LINQ or Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino: Portions here are big. We’re talking “Man V. Food” big (the restaurant has been featured on the show). Signature menu items include oversized flapjacks, hashes and farm Benedicts. We suggest the Tractor Driver Combo with two eggs, a choice of bacon, sausage or potatoes and a buttermilk flapjack.

HEXX Kitchen + Bar at Paris Las Vegas: We love the late-night menu at HEXX, which includes things like cheesy eggs with candied bacon waffles. You’ll also want to try the Hot Mess. This plate full of goodness is filled with french fries, pork, BBQ gravy, cheese sauce and basted eggs. Take it from us – you’ll want to pair whatever you choose with a tasty Bloody Mary.

Off the Strip at The LINQ Promenade: This place is great for breakfast food. Choose from pancakes, French toast, chicken & waffles and our favorite – the RIP Sandwich – a fresh baguette filled with fried eggs, hickory bacon, smoked ham, smoked cheddar cheese and arugula with lemon thyme dressing.

7 a.m. – Go to Bed

No explanation needed. Head to your hotel and get some sleep so you can do it all over again tomorrow.

Last visit at this Hash House breakfast ended at 11 AM and time was close to Noon so no Benedict or “eggs over easy” available. If they’ve indeed changed to a 24 hour policy I would like to revisit. 🙂

    Hi Rob,

There are select breakfast items served until 5 p.m. that are on the breakfast and lunch menus and there are also some select breakfast items, including the Tractor Driver Combo, that are served on the late night menu. That full list can be seen here: https://www.caesars.com/content/dam/ilv/Dining/Casual/hash-house-a-go-go/The-LINQ-Dining-Casual-hash-house-a-go-go-4.pdf Now you have me hungry for breakfast! If you haven’t tried it yet, the Kiwi Watermelon Lemonade is one of my favorite drinks ever 🙂 Hope you enjoy your next visit!

    Thanks,
    Allison
