Caesars Live – Entertainers Stage Shows At Nightclubs and Lounges

The lineup of legends at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is well-known. Celine Dion, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart and Reba, Brooks & Dunn continue to deliver terrific performances. Familiar, too, is the star-laden lineup at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, where Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Lionel Richie alternately rock the room.

Stars also abound at Flamingo Las Vegas, with Donny and Marie Osmond and Olivia Newton-John swapping headlining runs.

But Caesars Entertainment’s live lineup runs even deeper. The company stages high-caliber acts across all of its resorts— from established entertainers to those looking to reach a higher plane of fame. In fact, Billboard magazine recently named Caesars Entertainment the third-largest live entertainment promoter ?in North America. “Across the board, we have artists that the Las Vegas visitor connects with, whether it’s at The Colosseum or one of our more intimate theater settings,” says Jason Gastwirth, the company’s Senior Vice President of Entertainment. “What’s happening here, beyond what you’re seeing at The Colosseum and the Zappos Theater, is a new development in artists who see Vegas as an interesting platform to perform and reach a new audience.”

Las Vegas’ live-entertainment hub, Brooklyn Bowl at The LINQ Promenade, regularly stages top bands and artists on a near nightly basis. Elvis Costello and The Roots opened the venue in 2014. Recent acts have included Alabama Shakes, Beck and the Violent Femmes. Visitors can also find live music along The LINQ Promenade at O’Sheas, ameriCAN and Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery. An entertainment leader for years, Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell has evolved beyond the superstar DJs who dominate the clubs. “What we have seen with the DJ being front and center of the performance has been a moment in time” explains Michael Gruber, CEO and Partner of Drai’s Enterprises. “Now it’s going back to where it was. When you see someone like T.I., with a full band, in a club like Drai’s, there is a real ‘wow’ factor, and that’s the experience we have.”

Drai’s LIVE is building on its successful formula by offering live performances on a weekly basis from a rotating group of entertainers. Snoop Dogg, T.I., Fabolous, 50 Cent, Trey Songz and Nelly are all regular performers at the nightclub. For those not into the nightclub scene, familiar tunes can be heard in several live musical productions. At Harrah’s Las Vegas, the parody hit “Menopause The Musical” is set to songs from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, while Million Dollar Quartet celebrates a day back in 1956 when fate brought Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins together at the Sun Records studio in Memphis. The show marks the occasion with a jam session of songs including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “I Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire” and “Hound Dog.” Then there is Rock of Ages at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino—a hard-rocking show featuring sing-out-loud ’80s anthems like “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Here I Go Again” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
