Indulge in These Four Must-Have Spa Treatments

Treat yourself to a specialized service from one of these elite Las Vegas spas.

Las Vegas spas offer a peaceful respite to the nonstop action and excitement of Sin City. Routinely ranked among the world’s best (Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace has been named one of America’s top resort spas by Condé Nast Traveler), these serene sanctuaries serve as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Strip—if only for an afternoon. A relaxing spa day in Vegas is a unique experience: In addition to soothing massages and beautifying facials, spa menus are packed with exclusive one-of-a-kind treatments such as these.

SPA AT THE LINQ, (702) 794-3242

The latest to enter the game, the Spa at The LINQ, targets millennials, who can select their own music and choose from an array of individualized treatments. One such treatment is the Alaskan Glacial Mud Wrap, which uses mineral-rich mud from the Copper River Delta in Alaska. “It’s a very relaxing treatment—great for detoxifying, rehydrating and softening your skin,” says Joy Matti, the spa’s operations manager. “If you want your skin to look beautiful for that night out, we recommend the Alaskan Glacial Mud Wrap.”

The Spa at The LINQ uses body oils from 80 Acres scented with blood orange, lavender and “verde” to beautify and soften skin.

RIO SPA & SALON, (702) 777-7779

Three hours that will change your (outlook on) life. “The Bombshell is a series of treatments that will make you feel glamorous,” says Sparkle Drebert, Rio Spa & Salon manager. “It’s perfect for an afternoon of pampering to prepare for a night on the town.” It starts with a caviar facial masque that tightens and hydrates the skin. That’s followed by a warm strawberry and champagne footbath, pedicure and champagne cream massage. Custom body bronzing will give your skin a sun-kissed glow–then it’s off to the salon to complete your look and get your hair and makeup done.

THE SPA AT FLAMINGO, (702) 733-3535

Not every spa has an on-site Reiki master. The Flamingo Spa is fortunate to be able to offer this energy treatment with therapist Erlinda Evans. A Japanese stress-relieving technique, the Reiki massage treats the body, mind and spirit by focusing on and removing the body’s negative energy, which is often caused by emotional, mental or physical stress. At the conclusion of a Reiki energy treatment, you’ll feel “a deep sense of peace and relaxation,” says spa manager Kristen LaBuda.

Developed by one of Qua Baths & Spa’s very own Artisans, this individually tailored treatment combines energy work, light therapy, massage, sound and crystals to create an eye-opening experience. The Soulful Journey begins with a therapist-guided Tree of Life energy reading, followed by a massage. By bringing the subconscious to light, the treatment is as much about the mind as it is the body. “It’s an awakening,” explains Qua spa director Kristin Carpenter. “It can be a life-enhancing, life-changing experience. You will come away with a sense of calmness and well-being. It’s very grounding.”
