EDM Sister Act Krewella Rock Omnia Nightclub At Caesars Palace

It wasn’t long ago that Krewella was fighting to play gigs at dingy clubs throughout the country. But things have changed radically for sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf. The duo’s energic, rock-inspired electronic dance music has made them a fan favorite and landed them a residency at OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, a club that Yasmine describes as the”biggest and baddest” place in Sin City.

What’s it like to play OMNIA Nightclub?

Jahan: It’s the most amazing club that we’ve ever played at. It’s larger than life. You feel like you’re in a movie. The product is so over the top and incredible.

What’s next for EDM?

Jahan: The ever-changing trends in the dance-music genre leave the future of it unpredictable. It’s easy to get caught up on chasing the trends, and it’s quite a distraction from the artist’s path. We truly believe that sticking to your gut and staying focused on the sound you’re passionate about are what make an authentic record.

How do you balance each other out on stage?

Yasmine: Our music-making styles are like yin and yang. We are always looking out for each other during live shows, and we have a built-in support system through everything. I don’t know what I’d do if I were in this alone— Jahan keeps me balanced, focused and comforted throughout the highs and lows of this life.

What does Vegas nightlife offer that no other city can?

Yasmine: It is really everything you’d want out of a perfectly inuldgent nightlife experience.
