Lap of Luxury: Nobu Hotel Partnership with Caesars Palace Extended 10 Years

“It seems like just yesterday we were opening this unique property with a sake ceremony,” Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner told guests at an October event honoring the fifth anniversary of the opening of the first-ever Nobu Hotel.

Born from the vision of Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro and Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Nobu Hotels is set to more than double its collection and have 20 hotels open by 2020, leading De Niro to comment at the event, “Onward and upward.”

Caesars Palace launched the hotel brand in 2013 with a boutique resort featuring 182 luxurious guest rooms and suites, including the lavish 10,300-square-foot Nobu Villa, along with one of the world’s largest Nobu restaurants.

“Caesars Palace has an impressive legacy of ‘firsts,’” said Caesars Entertainment CEO Mark Frissora.

“The legendary resort set the standard for luxury when it first opened and is widely credited with introducing the resident headliner concept, welcoming the first true celebrity chef-driven restaurant and launching the first high-tech Race and Sports Book.

So, it comes as no surprise that we would be home to the world’s-first Nobu Hotel.” Frissora went on to announce that Nobu Hotel would undergo room upgrades including “innovative technology enhancements.”

Nobu Go Treatment

In honor of the 5th anniversary, a new spa treatment made its debut. Designed exclusively for Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace, the Nobu GO facial begins with the “Mindful Touch,” a virtual reality simulation to calm and prepare guests for the treatment. Revitalizing masks are added to the back, hands and feet, while the skin is then treated to a “Cinderella Lift” hydrating facial.
