Lionel Richie Announces His Las Vegas Residency For 2016

Lionel Richie will be honored as the 2016 MusiCares® Person of the Year on February 13, 2016, two days before the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards®.

Get ready to party “All Night Long” with Lionel Richie. The music icon and legendary hit maker is coming to Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The four-time Grammy® winner will begin his Las Vegas residency, “Lionel Richie — All The Hits,” on April 27, 2016, with the promise of a set list that includes “Hello,” “Stuck on You,” “Dancing on the Ceiling” and his Oscar-winning song, “Say You, Say Me.”

Richie, who has sold more than 100 million albums started as a member of the Commodores, penning smashes such as “Three Times a Lady,” Still,” and “Easy.” He went solo in 1982 and recorded five number-one hits in the eighties, including “We Are the World,” the powerful USA for Africa anthem he co-wrote with Michael Jackson. Over the years, Richie has collaborated with Lenny Kravitz, Tim McGraw and Enrique Iglesias and many others. His 2012 album Tuskegee features duets with country music’s biggest names such as Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton.
