Major Makeover – Caesars Entertainment Renovates Rooms From Coast To Coast

A room revival is under way. Caesars Entertainment has embarked on an ambitious plan to remodel more than 5,700 rooms from coast to coast. This includes upgrades to 4,800 hotel rooms at four of its Las Vegas resorts. By year’s end, the company will have renovated more than 10,000 hotel rooms
since 2013.

“We are re-investing in our room product to ensure that our guests’ in-room experience perfectly aligns with the extraordinary entertainment offerings we have developed and upgraded in recent years,” says Mark P. Frissora, President and Chief Executive Officer of Caesars Entertainment. Regionally, Caesars Atlantic City remodeled 274 rooms, while room renovations at Harrah’s Gulf Coast (499 rooms) and Horseshoe Tunica (193 rooms) include new designs complete with modern wall coverings, lighting and wood finishes.

Back in Las Vegas, the room and suite upgrades at four resorts bring a modern design with enhanced in-room electronics and new furnishings. All rooms now have large, 50-inch televisions and fully refurbished bathrooms. The transformation of Caesars Palace’s original tower (now called the Julius Tower) has been completed and Augustus Tower rooms have also been refreshed.

Additional upgrades include rooms and suites at Paris Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which rejuvenated some of its suites by adding retro round beds and floating daybeds.

In April I stayed at Planet Hollywood the room was old and no place to store luggage . I took my Mom for her 90’s birthday .I was disappointed about the hotel and never going to stay there. It ‘s good you are renovating the rooms.

These renovations look fabulous. We are already booked for Halloween weekend at PH and surely hope that we can enjoy one of these remodeled rooms/suites. We have been coming to this property since the original Aladdin and love staying at PH. We know we have several choices of hotels, but normally stay at PH. I guess we need to inspect the rooms at Paris, Harrah’s, Linq, etc. to see if we might would like to stay at one of those properties the next time. We honestly prefer gambling at PH as we see some of the same dealers and pit bosses that have been there for years.

    Thanks for upgrading the hotels.

I am a new member of the Harrah’s Casino group players and am very excited that the hotels
Are being remodeled. We stayed in a few of the Harrah’s properties in Las Vegas and Laughlin.
They really need a major remodeling. Especially the Laughlin Harrah’s hotel. My husband and I really enjoy
The casinos at the Harrah’s /Caesar’s hotels and will be a loyal customer. We have sold our home
And love the travel and entertainment. Keep remodeling. We will go often.

I was wondering about the offers I can get from Harrah’s Laughlin since we are staying there 9/25/2016 thru 9/29/2016. I know this is for Harrah’s Las Vegas but I was wondering if you could help me. I believe my host is Elizabeth Threshkill. I may be wrong on the spelling of my hostess last name. Please advise me on the offers at Laughlin, Nv. George H. Boand.

  17. So, so happy to see the newly renovated rooms. Updating was badly needed. We have stayed @ Caesars family of resorts in Las Vegas, Atlantic City & Laughlin. Our all time favorite is Planet Hollywood. Love the hotel, casino & of course the shopping mall & choice of restaurants. Hope to return there again soon.

  18. Traveling out of Rockford, Il. to Laughlin NV. two or three times a year for the four night stay each time for many years. Can not seem to get any one to help us get an upgrade room, only once in the many years of patronizing HARRAHS there have we had an upgrade room.

As a diamond member for many years I hate to give up this destination.

FYI, really never go off this property to gamble at the other casinos in Laughlin!

I have been staying at your properties since the early 1970’s, it all started in Reno, Nevada. Harrahs!!! In Vegas I have stayed at all of your properties. I was only disappointed with one room, at PH, my husband didnt care so I didn’t day anything. I loved Caesars the best!!! However the Rio Suites are great on my yearly girl friends trip. I can’t wait to get one of your remodeled rooms. I don’t even care which casino, except Ballys the last 2 times I stayed there. Looking forward to my holiday trip soon. See Ya.

Hello, I will be staying at the Harrahs Las Vegas 12-12-16/12-15-16, for my 55th birthday. My hotel and room selection is my biggest enjoyment of my trip. I am hoping for a stay that I will never forget. See you soon.

  25. Jim Mc

Looking forward to a Vegas trip soon. Hope this upgrade includes Atlantic City also, stayed in Harbor tower recently, loose bathroom tiles etc. Not very pleasant.

I love to go to the Total Rewards hotels . I particular prefer Rincon because of the distance from my house. I have visited several times Harrahs Laughlin but it needs a lot of upgrades. I have been in Vegas at the Paris, Harrahs, Flamingo, Ballys,Caesars and Rio. I like Rio because of all rooms are mini suites. I’m celebrating my big birthday (80) and I got an invitation for Rincon and Caesars which I certainly will be happy to use it. This total rewards program, to me, is the best. I love casinos, so thank you for allowing me to be a participant in your Total Rewards program and make me happy.

  27. everett g horner

I love going to Las Vegas and I always go with a friend. Whenever I have tried to get a nice room on my own at Caesars Palace it has been impossible.. I will continue trying.. I have been to Laughlin and most of the time to Harraghs Ak Chin which I really enjoy all the time.. These upgrades are beautiful!!! Thanks Again Mary Q..

  31. Allison Duck

    Hi Paula,

You can contact your casino host or call the hotel directly to discuss reservations. If you know which room you would like to book already, you can also book directly here: The new rooms look gorgeous! Now I want to book a trip too 🙂 Have fun!

  32. Allison Duck

    Hi Joseph,

It looks like that tower may be in a later round of renovations. If you would like to discuss switching your room to another hotel, I suggest you start with your host or whomever issued the comp initially and they can discuss options with you. Hope you enjoy your October trip. The weather should be great then!

  33. Allison Duck

    Hi Brenda,

Thank you for your loyalty over the years! Contact the casino host to discuss your next trip ahead of time and see what upgrades may be available.

  34. Allison Duck

    Hi Raymond,

Do you have a casino host at The LINQ yet? I suggest discussing your upcoming trip with a host and developing a plan. By the way, there’s a cool new chocolate tasting experience on The High Roller and also a yoga class there you might want to check out on your next trip:

Hope you have fun during your September visit!
