LET’S LAUGH AGAIN

COMICS JIM GAFFIGAN AND SEBASTIAN MANISCALCO TO PERFORM AT CAESARS PALACE

As a father of five, comedian Jim Gaffigan has plenty of experiences in his own life he can pull from—and he does.

Expect Gaffigan to cleverly deadpan a fair number of jokes about his kids and family, as well as food, when the observational comic comes to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with The Fixer Upper tour on May 27 and July 20.

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is returning to The Colosseum on April 15 with his new Stay Hungry tour. A nod to a recent book title and a personal mantra, Maniscalco says, “I’ve found myself reflecting on my path and all of the hard work it has taken to get to this point in my career. I hope to one day pass these values on to my daughter and encourage her to stay hungry for more.”

Purchase tickets at The Colosseum box office, by calling (866) 320-9763, or online at thecolosseum.com or axs.com.

ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOW

WATER REIGNS OVER VEGAS VARIETY SHOW

You could say it was love at first flight. Archer Silvia Silvia, a third-generation circus performer, was just 10 years old when she met 13-year-old juggler Victor Ponce. Now the couple, married 46 years, is starring in the circus-style, water spectacular “WOW – World of Wonder” at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. And they’re just one of seven couples performing in the intimate, family-friendly show—which has a cast of more than 30 artists, acrobats and aerialists. “He’s my only love,” Silvia says of her fourth-generation juggler and plate-spinning husband.

He’s also part of her archery act. In one sequence, Silvia shoots five crossbows simultaneously, popping five balloons outlining Ponce’s body. “There  have  been some close calls. I’ve hit his pants,” Silvia admits. “Now he wears tighter pants.” For her signature stunt, Silvia, who was a finalist on America’s Got Talent,  shoots      an arrow at a target that triggers another bow that fires an arrow through an apple balanced on her own head. “I like the adrenaline,” she says of the unique stunt.
