The Scene features two pools and the adrenaline-rush FlowRider Wave-in-a-Box Double where riders catch waves on bodyboards or hang ten on stand-up flowboards.

Summer Safety

Day drinking in the extreme Las Vegas heat has its challenges. Staying safe should be your number one priority. Physicians at Elite Medical Center offer these tips.

Stay Hydrated

When having fun in the sun, you’re thirstier than normal.Doctors recommend the 1-to-1 rule, pairing every alcoholic beverage you drink with a glass of water or an electrolyte-infused drink like Gatorade or Powerade.

Hangover Helper

Eat. Drinking alcohol on an empty stomach can lead to serious gastrointestinal issues. Vitamin shots (B12) or other vitamin-rich drinks have shown to decrease alcohol’s effects.

Protect the Skin

Never underestimate the sun. Applying baby oil may make your skin shimmer and muscles bulge, but it intensifies the sun’s negative affects and will surely have you reaching for the Aloe Vera later. Instead, use a high quality sunscreen with SPF 50 and reapply often!
